Lovely friendly place next to the river. Plenty of parking facilities just over the bridge which is approx five minute walk.  The room itself is spacious enough although for some may be a little dated. Bed is comfortable with a lovely duvet and pillows. Only downside was the curtains which are not blackout so do let in too much light for me but heyho I still had a reasonable night sleep  To get to the room we stayed in, we had to walk up a spiral staircase which for some people, this could be a struggle as the steps have been assembled quite tightly due to space so make the steps on the small side, there is obviously a handrail so coming down side ways helps.  Breakfast was continental consisting of fruit, cereal, yoghurt ( which was exceptionally tasty) toast etc. An English breakfast was offered at an additional cost but we preferred this option.  All in all a lovely place to stay with friendly welcoming hosts who were on hand to offer advise and assistance should you need it.

Cosy, clean, and with a warm welcome for all, treat yourself to an exceptionally great stay at a reasonable price.

If you are not sure where to stay - don’t waste any time looking elsewhere, I can 100% recommend staying at Arran Lodge. We were so impressed with how well we were looked after, a clean and kept room with everything you might possibly need, including a welcome treat - homemade cake, space to park the car outside the house, a welcome reception and the most wonderful breakfast choice! 호텔은 역에서 매우 가까워서 캐리어가 있음에도 힘들지 않았습니다. 호텔의 스태프들은 매우 친절했고, 저에게 좋은 서비스를 제공하기 위해 노력해주었습니다. 호텔 방도 좋았지만, 아무래도 shared bathroom 인 점은 불편했습니다. 물론 투숙객이 많지 않고 분비지 않아 제가 화장실을 이용하는데 불편함은 없었지만, 그럼에도 방을 나가서 화장실을 이용하는 점이 약간 불편했습니다. 그 점만 제외하고는 호텔 조식도 좋았고, 다른 모든 면은 좋았습니다.

Wonderful stay Sam the barman was a superstar rescuing us from the cliff walk before dark. Thanku Sam for Yr kindness and help and carrying our bag! Overall stay was amazing. Clean and fresh room. Breakfast was outstanding with loads of choice. Service was fabulous. The cleaner was so helpful when we needed info Thanks everyone. And Sam we are so grateful. We thought we may have to camp on South West path over night!!!

우리는 바다가 보이는 방을 예약했습니다. 예약 및 여행에서 이것을 분명히 명시했습니다. 분명히 그것은 관리자에 따르면 아무 의미가 없으며 하나를 예약할 수 있다는 사실은 당신이 그것을 얻을 수 있다는 것을 의미하지 않습니다. 술집이 옆길에 있기 때문에 어떤 방에서도 바다 전망이 있는지 의심합니다. 여전히 아주 좋은 위치. 우리를 맞이한 직원은 더 좋을 수 없었습니다. 좋은 레스토랑과 가깝습니다.

Late review here. Very very nice welcome from the owners - couldn’t have been nicer. Exactly as described. Sadly had to leave early in the mornings but heard from another guest that the breakfast was delicious. Easy to find, ample parking both on street and nearby huge car park if needed. Quiet, yet only 5 minutes walk from shops and pubs etc. Value for money would stay again.

Stayed in Room 3 with roll top bath and Harbour View, absolutely stunning, better even than pics. Jo made us feel extremely welcome, the breakfast was really delicious and plentiful. Range of choices, all freshly cooked to order. Having spent just one night here I would happily book again and come stay for longer. Avoid Wednesday in Feb as most restaurants closed.
