Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

우리는 슈페리어 더블룸을 예약했고 하늘이 화창하거나 흐리든 2개의 큰 창에서 우리가 가진 멋진 전망을 위해 추가 가치가 있다고 느꼈습니다. 위치는 훌륭했습니다. 마을과 Derwent Water까지 도보로 5-10분 이내 거리에 있으며 주차 공간이 잘 설명되어 있습니다. Fellpack House에 들어서자 쾌적하고 잘 보살핌을 받았으며 매력적이었습니다. 최상층(위층까지)에 있는 우리 방은 집과 장식 잡지에서 바로 나왔다. 편의 시설, 가구, 수건 및 음료는 양질의 물건이었고 우리는 그들이 현지에서 조달한 비누와 음료도 사용하는 것을 보았습니다. 하우스 키핑은 매일이었고 매일 맛있는 쫄깃한 초콜릿 칩 쿠키를 제공하는 것을 좋아했습니다! 아침 식사는 신선하고 맛있었습니다. 그들이 아침 식사로 전달되는 레스토랑으로 시작했습니다 (길 건너편에 운영되고 높은 평가를 받았습니다) - 나는 너무 많이 먹었고 모든 칼로리의 가치가있었습니다! 가장 좋았던 것은 직원이었습니다. 우리는 머무는 동안 많은 사람들을 만났고 그들 모두는 따뜻하고 수다스럽고 고객 지향적이며 재치가 많았습니다! 내가 얼마나 우리의 체류를 사랑했는지 말할 수 있습니까? 😀

1. 호텔 위치가 매우 좋으며 유람선 터미널까지 도보로 10 분 이내에 근처에 많은 레스토랑이 있으며 숙박 및 숙박이 매우 편리합니다. 방은 넓고 거실이 있습니다. 예상치 못한 일이지만 거실의 측면은 침대 옆에 있으며 거리 옆에 있습니다. 아침과 저녁에 약간 시끄 럽습니다. 특히 영국의 속도는 일반적으로 더 빠르므로주의하십시오. 아침 식사는 미리 준비된 빵, 요구르트, 시리얼, 우유 등입니다. 일부는 냉장고에, 일부는 사물함에 있습니다. 너무 많이 기대하지 마십시오. 2. 차로 오실 경우 프런트 데스크에 주차 카드가 필요합니다. 하루에 £ 3, 무제한 주차, 주차 할 수있는 여러 장소가 있습니다. 실제로 매우 편리합니다. 나갈 때 먼저 주차장으로 가서 운전할 수 있고, 돌아올 때 열쇠와 주차 카드를 프론트 데스크에 놓을 수 있습니다.

The room is clean and tidy. Surrounding is quiet and comfortable. Attendants are nice and helpful. Breakfast is fresh, delicious, with plenty of choices.

객실은 훌륭하고 깨끗하며 위생적입니다! 위치는 호수 한가운데에 있으며 부두에서 크루즈와 매우 가깝고 기차역에서 멀지 않습니다. 사장님은 매우 신사이며 매우 사려 깊습니다. 호텔에 도착하자마자 Windermere Lake의 주변 상황을 자세히 설명하고 여행지도를 제공했습니다. 아침 식사는 매우 맛있습니다! 잊을 수없는! 내가 떠날 때 사장님은 또한 내가 택시를 예약하는 데 매우 열성적이었습니다. 즐거운 여행입니다.

우리는 Stafford Guest House에서의 숙박을 완전히 즐겼습니다. 이 호텔은 아름답고 평화로운 환경 내에 자리 잡고 있으며 아름다운 정원이 보완됩니다. 우리는 넓고 세련되게 장식되었으며 고급스러운 터치와 완벽하게 균형 잡힌 편안함과 함께 4주식 침실에 머물렀습니다. 또한 정원이 내려다보이는 쾌적한 전망을 제공했습니다. 우리 호스트는 매우 환영하고 친절했으며 매력적인 대화와 도움이 되는 지역 추천을 제공했습니다. 도착 시 모든 것이 명확하게 설명되어 처음부터 전체 경험을 원활하고 쉽게 만들었습니다. 아침 식사는 맛있고 관대했습니다. 또한, 짧은 도보 거리에 매력적인 마을 펍 The Boot & Shoe Inn 이 있어 경험을 더했습니다. 편안하고 즐거운 숙박을 원하는 사람에게 이 숙소를 적극 추천합니다.

Dog friendly budget B&B, location is prime, one min walk to shops & restaurant. Bed was not comfortable, room was outdated and bathroom also needs updating. its a budget B&B Breakfast was great.

Staff were the most friendly we've ever experienced The food we had was very nice The room we had was immaculate even if it was pink panther watching us lol , will definitely be going back again in the summer thanks to all the staff

The hotel I was originally booked in had a flood so at the last minute I had to find another one, I found  Arkale lodge and it didn’t disappoint, the rooms are pretty basic, but extremely clean which  in my book is more important than a fancy room. And certainly good enough for the price I paid, the gentleman that showed me around was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 which was perfect for my continuation of my Hadrians wall walk. The Breakfast was included in the room price and was exceptional (full English, which I easily adapted as a non meat eater)  It was plentiful, delicious and freshly made. And a great start to my long tiring day  Thank You so Much  For your kind hospitality  Cathie :)

Great hotel with a decent location in the middle of the Lake District. You can walk/ cycle to Ambleside which is 5 miles away. Low fells are easy to hike for great views of the area around. The hotel is more like a private house with rooms. We got a small suite with bedroom, bathroom and living room. We could just about see the lake from the living room. The bathroom only has a bath and no shower head which was a difficulty for washing hair. Except for that it was very well organised. Breakfast was at a nearby pub - The Good Sport. It was a limited selection on the menu: full English, breakfast rolls, toast or porridge. You also got a 10% for dinner in the pub too.
