The best location. Old fashioned hotel. . We visited the hotel on 24,25,26 of December and spa gym was closed. No free car park. There is big car park 5 mins away by Walk. ( Central car park) 7£ all day Big restaurant , bar and lounge. Big meetings rooms Buffet breakfast 12,5 pp Lunch or dinner 25£ pp. Full recommended

Stunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

Location was excellent, hotel room, lobby and pool were very clean and comfortable, room was spacious, bright, with comfortable beds, Bathroom was good . POOL was very good and nice to have this in hotel. Breakfast was excellent with vast variety of different options, we enjoyed this .

The hotel is at very good location, all over experience was good. Apart from heating system. It was too hot, and making it uncomfortable to sleep. Rest everything was fine and perfect.

훌륭한 위치, 객실은 훌륭하고 깨끗하며 현대적입니다. 좋은 가치에는 스크램블 에그 만, 프라이드 에그 없음을 제외하고 좋은 아침 식사가 포함되었습니다. 주차는 £15:50에 비싸고 비 속에서 긴 산책이었습니다. 직원들은 친절하고 효율적이었습니다. 나는 본머스에 자주 머물므로 다시 여기에 머물 것입니다.

Stayed here in March 2026 with my family. Overall below average experience. There was only one passengers lift which was out of service and service lift was very small for a stroller and everyone staying on higher floors were struggling. Outdoor pool was closed due to season but heated pool was also not functional. Staff was not rude but they were not Marriott level, most of the requests were declined without any work arounds. I booked a sew view room and it was very compact, other things were manageable but toilet seat was not. It had very less space that you couldn’t sit properly to poop :) Breakfast options were good. Based on my experience I didn’t feel it like Marriott and I would not be able to recommend this to anyone.

I recently stayed at the Dorset Hotel. Overall, it was an okay experience. The room itself was very small for two people, which made it feel a bit cramped, and it could have been a little cleaner. One thing to be aware of is that reception closes at 5pm, so after that you need to collect your keys from the bar, which isn’t the most convenient. On the positive side, parking was excellent it’s free and you can park anywhere, which was really handy. I also asked about a late checkout, but the hotel said they were fully booked. Standard checkout is 10am, which feels a bit early compared to other places I’ve stayed. Apart from those points, everything else was good and the stay was comfortable enough.
