Perfect I need to come back in the future @ definitely will recommend to my friends and family

The hotel and area was fantastic, however, service at the front desk and the restaurant was lacking. We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service. Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing. The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay. I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped. Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet. However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'. We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.

I will never stay here again, booked for 2 adults and 1 child, child’s bed wasn’t made ready for us to call reception and for the lady to only say you will have to pay for the child’s breakfast (this wasn’t the problem we called about) then for the lady to bring bedding to the room and place it next to the bed that we had to then make up ourselves (something we paid for) we said we would pay the additional £10 for our sons breakfast for the lady to be completely rude and say she’s not bothered and to walk out no manager on site apparently for us to speak to until the next morning I find this completely unacceptable and for nothing to then be done about this apart from a passing apology on our way out is ridiculous

This hotel is very clean and all the woman receptionist very polite and helpful. Very happy with the service from them. The 2 man night staff were not helpful. I didn’t understand why I can’t order drink for our room and pay end of the stay. We even received letter in the morning that was outside the room not in envelope which everyone can read I didn’t like at all , reason been dater protection with don’t forget to pay for our order which we did straight away and had my full name on it.We stayed for 3 night so what was such a problem for those 2 night shift man. Otherwise all our stay was perfect. Thank u

The Mercure is centrally located 5 mins walk from the centre of the city and the Cathedral. Our room on the third floor was clean and serviceable although some of the furniture had seen better days. Car parking is available and costs £15 per day which is cheaper than the public car parking across the road.  Families note, pool costs £10/adult. (Children free)

가족 숙박을 위해 2 개의 객실을 예약했습니다. 5월의 가장 더운 주말에 머물렀습니다! 한 방은 다른 방을 얼어 붙였습니다. 에어컨이 안정적이지 않습니다! 객실은 다시 다양했습니다. 같은 것을 선택했지만 넓고 통풍이 잘되고 다른 하나는 조금 더 붐습니다. 나는 체크인이 오후 3 시까 지이었다고 들었다. 그리고 우리는 우리 계획을 복잡하게하는 4.30까지 허용되지 않았다. 아침 식사는 좋지만 매우 바쁩니다. 수요를 관리하기에 충분한 직원이 없습니다. 뛰어 다니는 직원들에게 기분이 나빴습니다! 전반적으로 좋습니다! 좋은 위치!

We booked a 1 night stay for New Years Eve and were very happy with everything. The room with a view was lovely . Warm & with tea coffee facilities & a comfy bed. The staff were all very friendly & accommodating and breakfast was plentiful in a lovely dining area with fab views. My only small grumbles would be that the furniture in the room needs an upgrade and there was a £10 charge for the car park .

The Palace Hotel was a delight to stay at. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and we were surprised to have evening entertainment. We went on a budget and were delighted with the hotel. Only thing to add was the bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a new set, I understand having orgional features is nice, however, I think new would be better. Also we were told breakfast would be £9.00 each on arrival, but when we went to pay it what a whopping £27.00 for a full English (1 of each item) amd some avocado and boiled egg on toast... of course we could have the continental... but it did make us cough a bit!! The service was great though. Overall great stay would recommend and return.
