DDhanushka WanasingheI recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful location and I must say, it was a nice place with outstanding scenery. If you enjoy a mountainous vibe, this is definitely one of the best spots to visit. The food was quite good, and the garden was absolutely beautiful. I especially appreciated Mr. Yoga, who guided us through the gardens and provided excellent support. One thing to keep in mind is that there are no elevators (only stairs). We stayed on the third floor and while the view was lovely, we did encounter some mosquitoes inside the room.

GGOLDSAINTA hotel with a magnificent view. It is really hard to find such a view. Especially the view from the top bar floor is extraordinary. The rooms could be cleaned more meticulously. It is not dirty but it could be cleaned more meticulously. The breakfast was average, the dinner menu was not very extensive, at least in the bar section. The welcome in the lobby was respectful and smiling. We were offered hot towels and fruit juice as soon as we arrived. The hotel is on the slope of a hill but I think the lack of a link bus service to the city center is a shortcoming.

리리뷰어Very pretty and nice resort with mountain view. Friendly staffs and super super nice breakfast.
However, it is too fat away from Kandy city center, you have to pay 1500+ rp for each ride, and most tuk tuk drivers don't prefer to go to this place. The google map shows wrong way and the team knew about this, but informed us just on the day of arrival, making this journey even harder.

MMadhusha Mendis우리는 최근에 W15 Glenfall Nuwara Eliya에 B & B 기준으로 머물렀고 전반적으로 매우 즐거운 경험이었습니다.
우리는 가장 큰 발코니가 있는 가장 중심적인 객실 중 하나를 받았으며 아름다운 전망을 제공합니다. 확실히 우리 숙박의 하이라이트입니다. 방은 넓고 매우 깨끗하며 시설이 잘 갖추어져 있으며 차와 커피 메이커를 사용할 수 있습니다. 내부는 고급스럽고 아늑하며 전체 재산이 잘 관리되어 있습니다.
화장실은 꽤 크고 기본적인 편의 시설이 제공되었으며 WhatsApp을 통해 추가 항목을 요청할 수 있다고 언급했습니다. 그러나 치과 키트를 두 번 요청하고 후속 조치도 두 번했지만 불행히도 배달되지 않았습니다.
체크인은 부드럽고 빠르며 친절하고 도움이되는 보안 담당자가 편리하게 주차 할 수 있습니다. 작은 잔디밭도 잘 관리되어 숙소의 매력을 더해줍니다.
그들의 사전 주문 식사 시스템은 매우 효율적이며 저녁 식사는 오후 6시 이전에 주문해야 하고 전날 밤 10시 이전에 아침 식사를 주문해야 합니다. 음식은 맛있었고 우리는 특히 잘 준비된 영국식 아침 식사를 즐겼습니다.
직원들은 일반적으로 세심하고 도움이되었으며 숙박에 긍정적으로 기여했습니다. 그러나 체크인시 웰컴 드링크를 보는 것이 좋을 것이며, 결혼 기념일을 축하하고 있었기 때문에 케이크나 간단한 장식과 같은 작은 제스처가 더 특별했을 것입니다. 또한 주방과 로비에서 약간의 소음이 들릴 수 있기 때문에 객실은 방음이 잘 되지 않습니다.
전반적으로 Nuwara Eliya의 아름답고 편안한 숙박 시설로 편안한 휴가를 보내기에 이상적입니다. 세부 사항에 대한 관심의 몇 가지 개선으로 경험이 더 좋을 수 있습니다. 🌿✨

리리뷰어A Hidden Gem – Perfect Honeymoon or Quiet Getaway
This place is truly a hidden gem. It was the perfect spot for a honeymoon couple or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway.
Travel tip: From Colombo, you can catch a direct bus to Nuwalapitiya. We didn’t know this and went via Kandy, which made the journey longer than necessary. If we had known, we would have taken the direct bus—it’s much easier.
Ps:The bus ride is phenomenal—very beautiful views along the way and very cheap.
The property is located on a hill and is naturally beautiful, surrounded by trees and birds whose songs make the atmosphere even more serene. It does get a bit cold at night, but it was the perfect kind of chilly—cozy and refreshing.
Our room had an amazing view, making it even more special. The stay itself was perfect for our honeymoon: very cozy, comfortable, and clean.
The staff were amazing, especially one gentleman at the restaurant (I didn’t catch his name, but I want to mention him). He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted—it really made our stay special.
A small note: we noticed the pool looked a bit dirty, which some other reviews also mentioned. However, it was clarified in the pool area that they use natural spring water without chemicals, so this is expected and actually a great eco-friendly approach. But This hotel needs some love because this is a very nice place.
Another small note: there were some insects, like cockroaches, but that’s expected when staying on a hill in the middle of nature surrounded by trees.
Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!!

리리뷰어This is a very nice hotel that is light and airy, and gives you a sense of being in the country. The staff are wonderful and make the experience what it is. Breakfast and dinner are very good, although it would be great to see more variation. Dambulla town has quite limited food options, so hotels like this are often the only choice for guests. The location is good - near to Dambulla, Sigiriya and only 1.5 hours from Anuradhapura. It would be nice to go for walks near to the hotel including to the lake. It is possible but there are guard dogs for the homes on the path to the hotel which makes for a less than relaxing walk. Overall, an excellent hotel

The standout feature of The Coffee Bungalow is undoubtedly its staff, particularly Adrian, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Everyone we encountered was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel well cared for. The food was another highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A particularly nice touch was when they packed us a complimentary to-go lunch for our train journey out of Kandy, which was a pleasant and unexpected gesture.
The Bad
The lack of air conditioning was a notable downside, especially given Kandy’s humidity. While the property has a charming colonial feel, the absence of a solid door between the bedroom and bathroom was an odd design choice. Although the toilet and shower do have louvered doors, privacy is somewhat compromised. Another issue was the challenging entry system—we found ourselves locked out one night, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
The Ugly
Unfortunately, the biggest drawback was the ant problem. While some level of bugs is to be expected in a tropical setting, the sheer number of ants, particularly in the bathroom but also in the bedroom, was hard to ignore. It definitely impacted our overall comfort.
Overall, The Coffee Bungalow has a lot of charm and some truly wonderful hospitality, but there are a few quirks and inconveniences that might not suit every traveler. If you’re prepared for a bit of rustic charm and can handle the lack of AC and privacy, the warm service and great food may make up for the downsides.

MMtngSeerock The King’s Domain offers an impressive stay with super spacious rooms, a beautiful outdoor environment, and excellent service. The only downside—though not the hotel’s fault—is the occasional wild peacock screaming at night, which might disrupt light sleepers. Otherwise, a fantastic getaway for nature lovers.

리리뷰어The owners and employees at this hotel are so, so lovely.
Unfortunately their hotel is not. I almost feel catfished as many of the photos highlighted the bar and pool party atmosphere. This was not the case - the pool was a decent size but in the shade and I actually didn’t see anyone in it. The pool party drinking shots I highly suspect were perhaps not a genuine source.
The same goes for the bar which is massive and attended to by several lovely young, bored gentlemen as both times I popped up (once for dinner) I was the only patron. Again no party atmosphere or even people - which is a shame as it is a big venue.
Fortunately next door was another venue for some decent cocktails and music which saved the boredom somewhat.
The bedroom was a decent size with a small fridge (but didn’t work), the bathroom was small, felt dirty, no hand soap or soap for the shower (apart from leftover previous occupants - and that was gross).
The pressure was poor making showering difficult and there was plaster on the floor from some damage - not cleaned up.
The bed was massive and comfortable with air conditioning and a fan so sleep was good.
Finally, and to repeat, the staff were lovely. Very hospitable and the location is about a ten minute walk to the Sacred Tooth Temple and Kandy Lake. So great location.
Would I stay there again - no. Would I pop in to say hello to the owners and next door for a cocktails - possibly!
