It was a delight to find Mosul recovering so well after the terrible ISIS experience. New roads, buildings being repaired or rebuilt, good quality new businesses even in damaged buildings, lovely juice shop, lovely restaurant. And a lovely hotel. Very safe to walk the streets (only the usual traffic hazards you expect in Iraq!). And the beautifully restored Al Tahera church where I enjoyed the Liturgy on Sunday morning. The sad part therefore was to hear Christians say that social tensions and discrimination exist making their long-term future questionable.

網上都説伊拉克摩蘇爾很亂，但是實地走訪兩天發現比網上説的要好，這家酒店安保很好，非常安全，大堂經理還會説中文，房間大、乾淨衞生，早餐品種豐富。
