This is the one of the worse experiences at Hyatt. The King Room Suite had a super tiny bathroom, The toilet seat was located at the door opening, the door barely brushed the toilet seat and it was cut in so it would not block the toilet seat. There was only one person working at the desk, she looked visibly frustrated when I asked her for 2 glasses for drinking water, said she was alone. Did not try the breakfast. One whole Hyatt Place Hotel was run by one person? Very disappointed with this location, Will not stay at Hyatt in the future.

It’s within walking distance to many attractions, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the grand, modern decor that beautifully blends the hotel’s historic charm with contemporary elegance.
The room I stayed in was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room offered stunning river views that made waking up each morning a delight. The amenities were top-notch, from the plush bathrobes to the high-quality toiletries. I truly appreciated the attention to detail.
Dining at the Swizzle Dinner & Drinks restaurant was an experience in itself! The rotating restaurant offers a unique and elevated dining experience with panoramic views of the city skyline. The food was exceptional, with a variety of locally inspired dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary preferences, showcasing genuine care and hospitality.
The service throughout my stay was exemplary. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring my stay was perfect. From the concierge who provided excellent recommendations to the housekeeping staff who kept everything spotless, the level of service exceeded my expectations.
I also had the opportunity to relax at the hotel’s RIVUE Tower Pool, which was a tranquil oasis after a day of exploring the city. The facilities, including the fitness center and spa, were well-maintained and provided an additional layer of luxury to my stay.
Overall, my experience at the Galt House Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. It’s a fantastic blend of southern hospitality, luxury, and comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Louisville. It’s not just a place to stay—it's an experience you won’t want to miss!

VERY COMFORTABLE BED (PILLIOSW NOT SO MUCH) SHOWER GOT REALLY HOT WHICH WE REALLY APPROECIATED. ONLY ISSUE FOR US IS THAT WE DID HAVE A PET SMELL THAT WAS UNBEARABLE AT TIMES BUT THEY SAID THEY DONT BELIEVE OUR ROOM HAD A PET IN THERE BEFORE OUR STAY. I HAVE BAD ALLERGIES AND SNEEZED ALL NIGHT LONG
리리뷰어The hotel was very good. My only complaint is that the water, for a shower at 9:00pm at night, was barely room temperature. Was very disappointed for such a nice hotel in every other way. Would reconsider staying again if it was in colder weather. I certainly hope that was an exception and not the norm.
Breakfast was also somewhat disappointing. No half and half (only Coffee-Mate) and no butter, only whipped margarine. Seemed pitiful. The hot food was marginal. The baked goods (I had a croissant, and my husband had a cinnamon scone) were phenomenal though. I hope you continue with those as they made up for the other food.
Also, Jasmine (our stay 10/11) was extremely helpful. She was clearly very busy working but when I asked if she had time for a question, she didn't look annoyed at all or miss a beat. She answered my questions with a great attitude. I then asked for directions, and she actually walked me outside so she could point out where to walk, along with sharing landmarks along the way so I could be confidant in where I was going. She is definitely an asset to your hotel as her hard work, knowledge and great attitude really shone. If I lived locally, I'd love to hire her with those stand-out qualities which seem hard to find these days.
CCaitlyn R.Beautiful property, very kind staff! Close to downtown, but I wouldn’t call it walking distance. In-house cafe, restaurant, and self-service shop area. I did think nearly $7 for a small smartwater was a bit much, but that’s just convenience pricing, really. Very nice lounging spots, inside and out. Multiple entrances make it a short distance no matter where you’re at in the parking lot.
Sucks they don’t have a pool, but they do have a fitness area so that’s good. Honestly didn’t care for the TV in the room much. Wish there was a better way to get on any streaming service instead of having to figure out Bluetooth (which I couldn’t) or having to bring a Roku stick or something.

PPhotoguyI booked this hotel last minute and arrived around 9 PM at night. The front desk staff was friendly and checked me in quickly and gave me my hotel key directed me to the elevators and where I could park my vehicle. The room was standard. nothing special the bed was comfortable, and I did like the fact that there were USB ports on each side of the bed as well as at the desk. I do wish they had had toothbrush and toothpaste for guests in the room because I had forgotten mine. It would’ve all been nice if they had had a complementary comb for guest to use overall eight out of 10

리리뷰어We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was clean, attractively decorated, cute commissary, great bars. We did not try the restaurant but it appeared lovely. The reason I did not give a high rating to the facility was the room lighting was terrible. There were small bedside lights and a small lamp up high on a shelf. When it was dark outside the room was barely illuminated with all lights on! And the bathroom lights were also very dim—even with the shower light on. Fortunately there was a lighted magnified mirror so I could apply makeup!
