리리뷰어Overall, the hotel left a good impression: recently renovated, clean, and very conveniently located between the central railway station and the Old Town, close to one of the main entrances to the historic center. The mattress, pillows, bed linen and towels were of good quality, and the sleep comfort was excellent.
However, there are some significant downsides.
First, there is an additional cleaning fee of €53 for two nights (€26.5 per day), which represents around 40% of the accommodation cost. The cleaning was limited to making the bed; the minibar was not refilled and the towels were not changed. This fee was not clearly included in the total price at the time of booking.
Second, there is no natural daylight in the room. My room, like most rooms in the hotel, does not have windows facing outside — all windows (a glass door, a large window and a small window) face the internal hall and reception area. As a result, no daylight enters the room and the curtains have to remain closed for privacy.
Third, complimentary water is not provided. Although the three bottles of water in the minibar were not charged at check-out, which I appreciated, the absence of free bottled water as a standard amenity was surprising.
Check-in is only possible between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and check-out is from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, which is much more limited than standard international practice. The room was also quite cold, and the heating system was not intuitive to operate. Additionally, since the hotel is located in a residential building, noise from upstairs (footsteps, conversations) was clearly audible, even late at night.
The hotel is good in terms of quality and location, but the additional charges and organizational aspects significantly affect the overall experience.

MMolmageeWhat a truly amazing stay a Masseria Della Piana! I can’t put into words what a special experience it was to stay at this beautiful Masseria!!
Staff - the staff would go above and beyond for you, there was nothing they wouldn’t do for you. All incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, with even the owner bringing us a traditional Puglian breakfast one morning! Every single staff member we interacted with was so kind and welcoming, special shout out to Seydou and Andre (we didn’t get everyone’s name, but I would be calling them out if we had!) and to all the cute doggos and kitties on site!!
The grounds/rooms - a truly truly beautiful location. The main pool is a great size, the area in general is very peaceful and tranquil, makes for a perfect pool day! The rooms are quant and perfect for what we needed, more than enough space for three girls with lots of clothes, bags, shoes and make up! They were kept very clean by the staff, good aircon, refilled water in the fridge. Our room even had a private plunge pool which was very cute and perfect for a slow morning.
Food - the breakfast selection is great, with homemade focaccia, croissants, cakes, as well as the usual things (bread, cereal etc).
The Masseria also hosted a cooking class/dinner on our last night, almost all of the guests attended and we sat at a long table together, there was pizza, calzones and lots of wine! This was a very special experience and so glad we did it.
If you want an intimate family run experience in the beautiful Italian countryside, this really is the place for you. I honestly cannot believe anyone would give this place anything but a 5, I would give it a 10 if I could!

리리뷰어The room itself was perfectly fine, and we appreciated being given a late check-out until 1:00 PM.
Unfortunately, that was where the flexibility ended.
We had an evening flight and were travelling with our 7-year-old daughter. After checking out, we asked whether there was anywhere we could take a shower before leaving for the airport. There wasn’t. We then asked if there was at least somewhere suitable to change clothes and were told to use the restroom. Beyond that, the only option offered was to sit in the lobby until it was time to leave.
I fully understand that the hotel was busy and that no rooms were available. We were not expecting them to provide us with another room. What disappointed us was the complete lack of effort to find any alternative solution.
Throughout the stay, the service was very correct and professional, but also quite minimal. Normally, I probably wouldn’t even mention that. However, when we needed something slightly outside the standard routine, this approach became very noticeable and disappointing.
The hotel did what it was required to do, but very little beyond that. For us, hospitality also shows in how a hotel handles a situation that requires a small amount of flexibility, especially when a family with a young child is involved.
As a room for the night, it was absolutely fine. As a final stop before an evening flight, however, the experience was disappointing, and I would choose a different hotel next time.

Our first room was old , smelly, and awful with a broken fridge, a kettle that could not be plugged in and peeling paint.
The second room has 3 different paint colours exposed fires and a bathroom that floods every time the shower is used.
There are holes in the ceilings, no staff apart from 1 young girl at reception.
Rooms have the cheapest, most basic facilities. The toiletries are what you would expect in a 2 star hotel.
No nescafe machine if you want sn expresso you must pay €3.50.
The hotel is run down and clearly management care only for money.
Private guest information is stored in a public cupboard. Maintenance is ignored, and breakfast is basic.
The breskfadt consists mainly of prepared sweet pastry and cakes.
A small glass of tetra pack orange juice us €5
If you wish to iron, you need to either iron on the bed or the floor..
The hotel does not have a bar that operates. There are no umbrellas or comforts of a 4-star hotel. Service is zero.
The hotel only offers breakfast. No lunch, dinner, or room service.
But the most alarming concern is the hotels noncompliance with fire safety. If there was a fire at this hotel, guests would simply lose their lives.

Oor parts of the ceilings have collapsed.
The police gave arrested the hotel due to serious concerns for staff and guests.

It's basically a quality road hotel, next to a petrol station (where entrance is). Privileged location facing the coast but since that's the same side of the busy road it could get noisy.

마지막으로 체크아웃할 때 작은 보석 상자를 욕실에 두고 왔습니다. 우리는 기차역까지 택시로 20분을 탔고, 분명히 Ugo는 타는 동안 운전사에게 연락하여 상자를 찾았다고 알려주려고 했습니다. 결국 다음 호텔에서 내 감독을 발견하고 우고에게 연락했을 때 그는 친절하게 내 보석을 미국에 있는 내 집으로 배송했습니다. 나는 이 속성이나 그 관리를 충분히 높이 평가할 수 없습니다. 주저하지 말고 여기에 머무르십시오!

리리뷰어체크인과 숙박은 오후 11시까지 순조롭게 진행되었습니다. 그러나 나중에 에어컨 설정에 큰 문제가 있었습니다. 우리는 그것이 조용하기를 원했습니다. 처음에는 장치가 꺼졌기 때문에였습니다. 하지만 잠들고 나서 20분 후에 다시 시작했습니다. 나는 그것을 끄었지만 20분 후에 팬이 가장 낮은 설정에서 작동하면서 스스로 다시 시작했습니다. 이번에는 ”방해 금지” 모드를 사용하여 다시 그러나 마침내 을 때 최대 전원으로 실행되었습니다. 놀라운 양의 소음을 내며 이미 오전 2시경이었습니다. 끄면 1분 후에 전원으로 다시 시작합니다. 악몽이었습니다. 리셉션에 가서 여러 번 전화했습니다. 접수원은 잠든 것 같았지만 마침내 일어나서 AC를 완전히 습니다. 덕분에 우리는 그럭저럭 새벽 3시경에 잠들 수 있었고, 오전 8시 비행기를 위해 오전 6시에 일어났습니다. 내가 호텔에서 경험 한 최악의 밤이었습니다.

리리뷰어저희는 오랫동안 단골 고객입니다. 건물 상태가 상당히 노후화되었습니다. 객실 관리가 제대로 되어 있지 않은 것 같습니다 (커튼은 작동하지 않고 고리도 떨어져 있고, 변기에는 물이 나오지 않고, 창문 손잡이는 손에 착 감기는 등). 객실을 배정할 때 조금만 더 신경 썼으면 됐을 텐데 정말 안타깝습니다. 하지만 숙소 자체는 쾌적하고 위치도 훌륭하며, 아침 식사도 맛있고 직원들도 친절하고 전문적입니다.
