The experience in the restaurant and housekeeping was the best part of my experience at that hotel service was excellent they went above and beyond. However front desk, upper management horrible one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Santo Domingo, Had maintenance issues ask for assistance with these issues and they were put aside asked for upper management to help which was the manager or assistant manager at the hotel he refused to meet with me on seven locations. Had a representative of my company. Tried to meet with him and we had to wait two days and nothing. I have a whole list of problems I experience at this hotel. #1, Problem was, that front desk staff could not make decisions to keep customers happy everything had to go through the manager and the general manager. #2 I stayed at this hotel for eight days. I was celebrating buying a new business in Santa Domingo and my 60th birthday This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. #3 I asked for a management repeatedly, never had the opportunity to meet with the manager at demanding I speak with someone the general manager agreed to meet with me the last day and when she did, I spoke with her about all the problems that I had she said that she would get back with me That was June 18, 2024.. It’s now July 24 and I’m still waiting on the answer. #4 I’ve been in the hospitality industry, for 45 years as a director of engineering over several high end chain hotels I always known hotel so have been one of the best industries that it is in the world service countries in the US and outside of the US and Europe, Kuwait Iraq and Dubai and I never received any kind of treatment like this from upper management….. she never offered me a resolution to the issues that I have experienced for the entire stay. But most of all this is the part that bothered me the most doing check-in everything is in Spanish. It’s not broken down into any other language. I asked the GM, which was a young lady. Why is everything in Spanish? I don’t know how to read Spanish, but I have translators that would read it for me. She told me when she come to America United States of America. Everything is in English and that I should adjust. That is not something that you say to a customer I chose this hotel for location, convenience to my new business and for my future staff that is coming from the US. I would love for the owner of the hotel to respond or explain to me why is key members of his establishment or her establishment treating customers like this?.

Nous y sommes allés pour 2 nuits. L'accueil était professionnel et courtois et le personnel nous a aidé à monter les bagages dans notre chambre, au 3ème sans ascenseur. La chambre était simple, mais pleine de petit défaut (il fallait monter sur une chaise pour éteindre la télé au dessus de la porte, salle de bain qui fuyait légèrement quand la douche était ouverte, savon, serviettes et produits d'hygiène en quantité insuffisante et de qualité moyenne). Par contre, la chambre et l'hôtel sont propres. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt décevant, dès 8heure trente, le menu dominicano n'est plus disponible et le lendemain quand nous sommes descendus à 8 heures, rien n'était prêt pour nous accueillir. Enfin, le taxi qui devait nous conduire à l'aéroport avait le pare-brise avant cassé et un coffre trop petit, ce n'est pas rare en RD, mais en général, les hôtels travaillent avec des chauffeurs au véhicule mieux adapté. Pour le même prix, il y a beaucoup mieux dans la zone coloniale.

Pro: -safe area even at night, because just beside the militery area of the presidential palace, even at 10pm there is still a grocery open. - Breakfast is simple but good enough: toast with cheese and ham, coffee and a boiled egg. -Spacious and clean room, friendly staff, can refill drinking water. -500m walking to the gate of the colonial area. - Taxi stand is at the same street - Nice, spacious outdoor, sitting area - A personal fridge in the room Cons: -A bit noisy from the road/a bar until around midnight. - Shower is not really hot (only slightly warm).

The breakfast was really good and delicious. The staff was very friendly just I wrote them in order to change the room but they didnt reply me so I advice they check the messages and reply timely. The bedroom with 1 queen bed was really nice. They didnt have many options for 2 twin beds altought it was clean. AC works very good. Is really well located in downtown area, there are several restaurants and bars just by walking distance.

Having a long stay at my favourite Hotel in Santo Domingo. Impecable throughout!!!! Beautiful penthouse with jacuzzi!!!! Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, sleep like a princess. Amazing. I just love it here!!!! Wonderful room service and staff always willing to help!!! Special thanks to Jordi, this guy is everywhere!!!!! Nada puede gustar en este hotel, en el que no puedes dormir y no te dan nada de comer. No debería de estar considerado un hotel. Seguramente en el coche se duerma mejor. Por no hablar de que la persona que esté a cargo de la dirección es muy poco profesional. No sé ni como explicar lo mal que me lo han hecho pasar en este hotel. Primero lo increíblemente molesto que es tener que soportar el ruido de su discoteca en la planta 9 y no dormir, después que te reubiquen a la planta 2 (nivel muy inferior de habitación) cobrando el mismo precio, no poder dormir nuevamente porque la puerta sea casi inexistente, y después que mientan en cuando hice el check out para cobrarme una noche más. Vergüenza.
