     There were several monuments on Cape Nosappu in Nemuro City. One of them is this monument. There was an explanation on the back of the day. According to the report, Tatsunosuke Takatsuki was a businessman and politician from prewar to postwar, and in his later years he was a person who made efforts to realize the safe operation of Japanese fishing boats near the Northern Territories.

     Cape Nosappu, the easternmost part of the mainland. A large tall stone monument was built about a few dozens of m from the Cape Nosappu Lighthouse at the tip. The monument was written as "Tatsunosuke Takashi's Monument". This person, Tatsunosuke Takatsuki, is said to have dedicated his whole heart to the "Kelp Agreement on Shell Island" concluded with the Soviet Union in 1963. You are the one who opened the way for kelp operations on the shell island that continues today.

    It was a monument to honor those who devoted themselves to the conclusion of the Japan-Soviet Private Fishery Agreement in 1963. It was a large monument standing near Cape Nosappu Lighthouse, and an explanation panel was attached to the back. It was a monument built in 1964 by the Hokkaido Fisheries Association.
