Exhibiting collections of the head of the Saito family
Original Text
About 20 minutes walk from Gujo Hachiman Station. A museum along "Yanakamizu no Komichi". Opened in 1987. Admission is 300 yen. Exhibits calligraphy and paintings, tea utensils, pottery, lacquer ware, swords, etc. collected by the head of the Saito family, who was a tea man. Quiet buildings, well-organized exhibition rooms, and exhibits that feel rusty and lonely. It was a small but quite spectacular museum.
It was in a great ticket of 1080 yen! It's small. There was Suikinkutsu, and it was good to hear the sound. The path with a pattern made of stone in front is beautiful. There is also a coffee shop inside.
You can see art and crafts centered on calligraphy, paintings and tea utensils. There was also Suikinkutsu in the courtyard. It was 300 yen for adults and 200 yen for children.
Daigaku 々 This museum exhibits art and crafts centered on treasured tea utensils handed down to the Saito family, who was a tea man. The courtyard with Suikinkutsu was quaint and nice.
A museum centered on tea utensils and Japanese paintings. I'm not very familiar with tea utensils, but I still see the name I heard. There is Suikinkutsu in the courtyard, and beyond that, it leads to a Japanese-style cafe. The quiet atmosphere was good.
