We dedicated an entire day to exploring the meticulously landscaped gardens, which were a feast for the eyes with their breathtaking displays of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. The vibrant colors and fragrant blooms created an enchanting atmosphere. In addition to the captivating beauty of Keukenhof, our stay in Lisse provided the perfect base for further exploration. Venturing beyond the gardens, we discovered an expansive canvas of tulip fields stretching over a 50-mile radius. Renting bicycles allowed us to immerse ourselves in this sea of colors, making each day an adventure filled with natural wonders. The combination of our time at Keukenhof Gardens and the surrounding tulip fields made for a truly magical and memorable experience. After visiting Lisse a few times now, I can suggest best time to be here is between mid April and mid May.

I had the opportunity to visit the most beautiful tulip garden in the Netherlands, located in Lisse, Netherlands. It started with purchasing an admission ticket online. If you don't have a personal car, you must take the bus. Start by taking the train to Leiden central station. Then walk out of the train station and wait for bus number 50 to Vreewijk stop, then walk about 1km to the garden. The journey takes almost 1 hour. Alternatively, you can take the train to Sassenheim station and wait for bus number 50 there, which also ends at Vreewijk stop. The garden is very crowded with tourists. Don't forget to watch your belongings and bring sunglasses and a sun hat. For the return trip, walk back to the same bus stop and take the bus to Leiden central station just like before.

KEUKENHOF 🌷 1, 2 or 3 ? Memories from my little trip in Holland during the tulip season two years ago ! I got the chance to visit the famous Keukenhof Garden and was blown away by the colors and shapes of the tulips. #springblossom It was a amazing experience to see so many colours and enjoy the fragrance of various hyacinths and their clouds too. All flowers were at their best and get like was the best time for my visit. Would certainly recommend that all visiting Amsterdam in spring should try and visit the park. Certainly worth all the effort. Required to get there. There are direct buses (3different routes) that make getting to the park easy, via public transport.

#europetrip No filter needed 🌷 Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens. It covers an area of 32 hectares and approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted in the gardens annually. It’s a must visit place in the Netherlands. The garden is so huge and you can spend a whole day in there. Spring is obviously the best time to visit to enjoy all the beautiful tulips and greens. Something to remind the tourists is to book your transport along with the ticket. If not you will have to buy it separately which could be a bit inconvenient. The 20€ is just for the garden entrance collectively it should be 36 if I remember correctly. Another bonus will be bringing picnic carpets or towels it’s such a great place to hang honestly I didn’t want to leave
