Osteria Babazuf 리뷰

Nine of us went for dinner after another two highly rated restaurants were not available. One recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The friendly service was complimented by the delicious food. One guest being a chef said that it was the best gnocchi she had eaten with others in aggrement with other chosen dishes. A complimentary dessert wine finished off what was an lovely evening. A couple of our meals were slightly over seasoned to our taste but still enjoyable. We also enjoyed a chuckle at reading the English translation of the menu, a little off but entertaining. Reasonable priced and would recommend.

Lunch on a sunny afternoon in Siena. The trattoria is off the beaten track and has an old-fashioned and welcoming vibe. I had an excellent house white with pasta with clams and cherry tomatoes and octopus in a beautiful red wine, onion and saffron sauce(could easily have served two people as a second). Too full for dessert! Excellent coffee. The service was attentive but not fussy. Lovely! 30€ Food prices are a little higher in Siena (but less than Florence)
