Never heard of the place, a friend invited me there for dinner. There was a long line of people waiting for a table, a good sign that the food would be good so the anticipation was building. We waited 20 minutes for a table, not too bad. Started with the pork buns and they were delicious and flavorful, we could have eaten an entire plate full! Now on to the ramen, I went with the traditional with extra pork and an egg, it was delicious! The broth was hearty and flavorful, the noodles were very good. Normally I order Ramen and I don't finish it all but it was so good, I was scooping in the bottom of the bowl to get the last few sips of broth! Great place for a tasty and inexpensive dinner, I noticed lots of families so kids love this place as well. Definitely will go back on my next trip to NYC.

My friend asked me if I liked Ramen. She told me about this place that serves fresh noodles and can order more when you order the soup. The only thing is that you have to leave some broth in the bowl. Well, first off, expect a wait.....but it is soooo worth it!. Upon bringing you to your table, the staff greets you in Japanese! I had the spicy chicken buns as an appetizer, but they were a tad too hot for me. The buns are different, a bit spongy looking, but good nonetheless. I ordered the original ramen and let me tell you.....leaving broth in that bowl was the hardest thing I ever did. It was delicious. The bowl was extremely large...something along the lines of a water bowl for a Great Dane. Atmosphere very lively with dance fusion music as well. Be forwarned, there is no take home bags. Their rules, not mine. But honestly, its so good, there would be none.

I am a bit torn, I kind of what to give this place a 5 but also a 4. I wish I could give it a 4.5. The ramen is really good, the wait time is quite long, hipsters love this spot. The Bao was meh, so i wouldn't bother with that. I had the Karaka and once i started adding toppings it ended up being in the $20USD range. It was delicious though. I would definitely come back
