Generally pretty good. Hotel is slightly older and more tired than it looks in the photos. Hotel is in same building as a large shopping mall.

Kami datang untuk check in sekitar pukul 22.30 dan saat itu kamu harus menurunkan bagasi sendiri, dan menaikkan ke troli bagasi hotel sendiri pula. Di reception sedang melayani satu orang dan lama sekali. Sudah tahu hari itu sangat ramai kenapa cm dihandle satu orang reception tanpa ada bantuan dari belboy atau housekeeping.

The hotel in general is poorly maintained and not clean. Some of the toilets in the lobby area were out of order and dirty/stained. The sink in our 3 rooms were cracked in the middle and plastered to keep the slabs together, however the drainage water keeps on dripping down to our feet everytime we used the sink. The bedsheets, pillowcases were not freshly new when we checked in, all the safety lockers were not working after seeking help from the maintenance, and all the fridges in all 3 rooms were either broken or missing. The aircon in our rooms were working well, however,  the aircon at the breakfast area were not working. Other clienteles were trying to get the best sitting location near the air blowers provided. we ended up sitting next to an open doorway for breakfast to get some fresh morning breeze. Food selection were limited, and the local spread was somewhat not as tasty or as fresh as other local hotels we have stayed before. We can see that the hotel used to be a grand and beautiful place, it is just a shame to see such a majestic building as Tjokro has lost its sparkle..

우리는 매우 좋은 방을 가지고 있었고 꽤 깨끗했지만 (아마도 더 깨끗할 수 있음) 방 평균은 좋았습니다. 우리는 주말에 아쿠아랜드에서 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 주중에는 낮의 슬라이드가 작동하지 않아 조금 실망했습니다. 아침 식사는 꽤 많은 선택으로 좋았습니다. 전반적으로 확실히 내가 다시 갈 수있는 곳

방의 크기는 조금 작지만 그래도 괜찮습니다. 창문이 있고 테이블이 있습니다.. 여행 가방을 넣을 공간도 충분합니다.. 복도에 음료수를 채우는 디스펜서가 있습니다.. 리셉션 직원과 보안 직원 경비원도 매우 친절하고 도움이 됩니다. 위치는 걷고 싶은 쇼핑몰에서 꽤 멀지만 큰 도로에 있어 찾기 쉽습니다.

사마린다에서 가장 깨끗한 신식 호텔입니다. 다만 식당에서의 메뉴가 상당히 제한적이고, 로비층 카페의 주문은 서빙도 상당히 늦고, 접객 능력이 다소 부족한 편입니다. 시설이 중요한 분께는 강력히 추천드리며, 호텔 내 서비스를 많이 이용하시는 타입이시라면 사마린다 시내의 Mercure Hotel이 대안이 될 수 있을 것 같습니다.

I stayed at Hotel Pentacity Balikpapan two days ago. The location is excellent — it’s in the same complex as a mall, so everything is very convenient. The breakfast was good, and the service from the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was also good, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay.

Nice hotel to stay in Balikpapan, location litte bit unique because going high from mainroads, breakfast also unable to request eggs.
