Excellent location. Friendly and very helpful staff. Perfect option for a city centre hotel with good amenities.

I had issues with the date so wasn't able to travel during the said booked time. I would like to give a special thanks to the lady I spoke to on phone who was really considerate and listened to me (I called several times) and arranged another day convenient for me. The room was nice but the walls were very thin due to which when people were playing music we could hear it in ours till 2am in the morning. Although they quickly responded when complained but the walls should be thicker so that people can enjoy their stay when they paid so much in a good hotel!

A gem of a hotel, tucked away on the University Campus. Lovely furnishings, excellent food at reasonable prices, beautiful bar and restaurant. We’ll be using this one again.

My stay at the Marriott Leicester was genuinely enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the calm atmosphere—it felt like a proper break. The location was also ideal, close to Fosse Park and the motorway, but still peaceful. Overall, the Marriott Leicester felt like a perfect mix of comfort and class.

I’d stay there again because the bed was larger and more comfortable than the hotel I usually stay at on my annual trip to see family. Room was clean. The downsides: We arrived at around 11:30 and they wouldn’t check us in until after 12, I get that this is policy but other hotels in the city are flexible and we’d been travelling 20 hours. Also the air con in the room didn’t work and it was very hot for the UK so had a bit of trouble sleeping. They said they’d take a look and gave us a fan because I guess they couldn’t do anything but it didn’t quite cut it…

Christmas shopping in Leicester and needed a base to stay overnight so we could see the Christmas lights and experience of the night. The VOCO hotel was walking distance from the city centre and easy to walk to the station the next day. Inside the hotel the reception is very nicely decorated for the time of year! Gorgeous tree and decorations. Meet by staff quickly no queue and got through check in quickly, lucky have stayed here before but was informed about the lifts and the rooms. The room was lovely, huge queen size bed that is so difficult to get out of, little fridge with water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplied in the room with biscuits. The whole room was clean, warm and welcoming on a wet day, and the shower and bathroom inviting to freshen up. Will definitely be back in the future.

This hotel was huge! The pool area was great and the gym was big too. Only a short drive to either Coventry or Leicester for food too! Beds were very comfortable. Amazing!!

Located next to a railway station, the hotel offers basic amenities for your stay. The room was cleaned but the carpet in the lift area and the corridor gave a stinky smell. Breakfast was good many vegetarian options as well.
