호텔 환경도 좋고 시설도 아주 잘 갖춰져 있었어요. 수영장 외에도 스파, 여러 레스토랑과 바가 있어서 편리했습니다.
위치도 훌륭했어요. 해변 바로 앞에 있었고, 선착장까지는 조금 거리가 있었지만 야시장과 시내 중심가까지는 아주 가까웠습니다.
저희는 풀뷰 객실을 예약했는데, 신혼여행객인 것을 아시고는 특별히 최상층에 위치한 풀뷰와 오션뷰를 동시에 즐길 수 있는 객실로 업그레이드해주셨습니다. 게다가 신혼여행 선물까지 챙겨주셔서 서비스가 정말 감동적이었어요.
조식은 매일 메뉴가 비슷하긴 했지만, 모두 맛있었고 가성비도 아주 좋았습니다.

호텔은 Sun과 같은 크루즈 선박의 선착장에 위치해 있어 매우 편리한 위치에 있습니다. 근처에 WOOLWORTHS 슈퍼마켓은 물론 야시장과 많은 일식 레스토랑도 있습니다.
프론트 직원은 일본인 직원으로 친절하고 모든 질문에 답변해 드립니다. 중국 발렌타인 데이에 딱 맞춰, 아래층에서 멀지 않은 곳에서 공연이 있었습니다. 할인 후에는 레스토랑에 가지 않았습니다. 아침 식사는 1인당 AUD20였는데 여전히 괜찮았습니다.
호텔에서 한 블록 거리에 중국 여행사가 있어서 HUNGRY WOMBAT 일본 우동을 먹으러 갔습니다. 나는 Yuanqi Forest 음료를 샀습니다.

호텔은 보트 서비스 홀과 부두에서 매우 가깝습니다(도보 6분).
생활이 편리하고, 근처에 대형 슈퍼마켓인 울워스(Woolworth)가 있고, 주변에 레스토랑도 많습니다.
바다 전망 객실은 바다의 작은 부분만 볼 수 있으며, 대부분 맞은편에 ** 및 힐튼 건물 전망이 있습니다.

머무는 동안 11층에서 처음으로 암컷 바퀴벌레가 새끼를 낳는 모습을 관찰했고, 9층으로 이동한 이후에는 개미가 먹이를 찾아다니는 등의 자연경관을 매일 관찰할 수 있었습니다. 프런트 데스크에 살충제를 요청해도 도움이 되지 않았습니다. 이는 5성급 호텔에서는 드문 일입니다.

뷰도 너무 좋고 위치도 가깝고 너무 만족햤습니다
고층으로 요청하니 60층을 받았어요
순간적으로 어지러울수 있어서 조심하세요~
모든면이 만족이였지만 체크인 2일전인가
저한테 전화가와서 주차장이나 체크인같은걸 물어보더라구요
저는 영어를 못하는데 너무 빠르게 말하고 배려없다는 생각이 들었어요 그러고 당일 체크인하는데 전화로 했던부분을 똑같이 하더라구요
왜 전화해서 물어봤는지 모르겠더라구요
이 부분빼면 모든점이 너무 아름다웠고 좋았어요

다음날 귀국 비행기 시간에 맞춰 여기에 숙박하게 되었습니다. 노보텔은 처음이었는데, 무난한 비즈니스 스타일의 인테리어였고 매우 깨끗했습니다. 다만, 럭셔리나 휴양지 스타일의 인테리어는 아니라서 그런지 다소 차갑게 느껴졌습니다. 특별히 불만은 없었고, 가장 큰 장점은 공항에서 차로 8분밖에 걸리지 않는다는 점이었습니다. 특히 좋았던 점은, 체크인할 때 프런트에서 저희 비행시간에 맞춰 택시를 예약해 주셨다는 것입니다. 직접 택시를 부르면 30 AUD인데 호텔을 통해 예약하면 20 AUD 정액 요금이라 좋았습니다. 아침 식사는 6시부터 제공되었고, 비교적 간단한 서양식 위주였습니다. 룸서비스는 24시간 이용 가능했습니다.

시설은 최신식이었고, 청결 상태는 매우 깨끗하게 잘 관리되어 있었습니다. 주변 환경도 아름다웠으며, 서비스는 세심하고 친절했습니다. 위치도 아주 좋아서 현지 투어를 이용할 때 픽업/샌딩 서비스가 제공되어 매우 편리했습니다. 호텔 식사도 훌륭했어요. 특히 가족 여행에 강력 추천하며, 아이들이 호텔 내에서 신나게 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있어서 아주 만족스러웠습니다.

리리뷰어우리는 스와이프 카드에 몇 가지 문제가 있었지만 결국 해결되지 않았습니다. 많은 사과를 받았지만 보상 제안은 없었습니다(우리 방에 들어가려면 직원에게 우리를 우리 층까지 스와이프한 다음 우리 방으로 스와이프해야 했습니다). 그 외에는 멋진 숙박이었고 침대는 매우 편안했습니다.

리리뷰어Had to wait while one of our 2 rooms was made up but the room that was supposed to have been made up had only had the beds done. Toothpaste splattered across the bathroom mirror, toilet unscrubbed, no face washers, hand towel or bath mat though there were fresh towels on the beds.
The kitchen hadn't been done as there was no dish cloth or liquid for cleaning only 2 tea cups, no mugs and the fridge contained half eaten yoghurt, a full bag of grapes and a 1/4 of rotten watermelon its juices all crusted under it.
The well frosted freezer contained a partially eaten iceblock frosted into the freezer, obviously it had been there long enough to be frosted to it.
The kitchen had not been stocked with tea coffee sugar or most importantly for me milk (being a little fussy I bring my own tea and coffee)
I have doubts about if it was vaccumed due to the pills as several other items on the carpet. I mention the pills as we had young children with us.
The aircon remote had no batteries or back to it but we just swopped out the batteries for the T.V. remote
The cleaner sent to remedy this politely made it clear that she wasn't the one who'd made up the room. She cleaned the mirror restocked the face washers, hand towel and bath mat, removed the food from the fridge and freezer and upon request gave me a cloth for me to scrub off the crusted watermelon juice.
The beds were clean (I checked) with fresh sheets and comfortable. They were clear that they expected courtesy to others by not making alot of noise late at night or slamming doors. The pool area could have been cleaned. I don't know where the dirt came from but it was there when we arrived and still there when we left. The lobby chairs I wouldn't sit in, needed a good scrub with soap and water.
They unlocked the freezer at the Cafe late one night for us to buy ice cream. The staff were helpful and polite. The kids loved playing ping pong and swimming.

리리뷰어It was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site.
Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in.
Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in.
Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think.
I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist.
Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!)
I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house)
So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one.
Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit.
We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have.
If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

리리뷰어위치가 정말 좋습니다. Q1 빌딩까지는 도보로 몇 분 밖에 걸리지 않으며, 트램까지도 도보로 몇 분이 걸립니다. 시내 중심가와 매우 가깝습니다. 호텔에는 무료 수영장, 건식 스팀룸, 소규모 체육관이 마련되어 있습니다. 가격이 매우 저렴합니다. 체크인 시 200달러의 보증금을 지불해야 하며, 입실 및 퇴실 시 열쇠를 지참해야 합니다. 다음에도 또 여기에 머물고 싶습니다.

익익명 사용자비행기를 타기 위해 일찍 일어나서 더 저렴한 호텔을 예약했기 때문에 가격이 저렴합니다. 유일한 단점은 저층 장애인 방으로 변경했다는 것입니다. 다음날 일찍 일어나야 할 때 방을 바꾸지 않아도됩니다. 바닥은 ** 아래층 레스토랑의 기름진 연기 냄새를 맡습니다. 높은 층을 예약하는 것이 좋습니다.

리리뷰어We chose this hotel because it was one of the most inexpensive hotels near the reef terminal and close to other attractions in Cairns. It was a 30 minute walk to the Reef Terminal and 40 minutes to the Botanical Garden. It also has a good selection of restaurants nearby and is a short walk to Rusty's Market and quite a few shops.
The area is very quiet and the bed was comfy enough. The room has a good wall unit which we stored all of our bags in and kept our stuff accessible with some shelves. There is a limited number of plug-ins in the room with two on the desk under the TV and a power bar was underneath the bed. A travel power adapter was used to keep our devices charged. The wifi was weak when we stayed and we felt the shower curtain and lip didn't do a great job keeping the water contained because the floor and bath mat got soaked each time we showered - you could aim the shower head at the wall and angle your body just so but it was tricky to have a good shower here. We did appreciate all the toiletries available in the wall mounted units including hand wash, shaving cream, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The towels were also very soft but never dried out so we had to ask to have them changed on our second day here because the bathroom smelled very damp due to the wetness.
The front desk staff were very kind but they did not have it manned after hours so there are late night check in instructions provided. They also can help arrange and book tours while you are in Cairns. The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast which included bread, a toaster, a pancake machine, cereals, juices, coffee, milk and water. The highlight of the breakfast was the pancake machine and the giant jar of Nutella with a pump attached. You could order a hot breakfast for a little bit more and it was fairly priced for things like sausage, bacon and eggs.
The hotel also has a bar area (open 3-7), heat and eat meals, a vending machine, pool and laundry facilities. There is a microwave available in the bar area and kettles are available in the rooms for hot water. The laundry machines are commercial and quick - it cost 4 AUD to wash and the same price to dry and our laundry was done within 1 hour and 10 minutes. The laundry room also has an iron and ironing board.
The hotel had a good amount of parking and it is about a 10 minute drive from the airport. We felt everything was very convenient during our stay and would recommend it if you are planning to save on a hotel and spend on excursions!
