'The first room I was given was very old, with a broken floor, damp on the wall by the bed, and paint that was peeling and coming off. The room was located in a separate building from the hotel. I was quite disappointed because this is not what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. The explanation I was given was that I had booked through a budget platform. Luckily, after changing rooms twice, I was finally able to get a room in the hotel’s main building. The reception staff were very kind and understanding of my family’s needs. Once in the main building, everything was exactly as expected. The pool is beautiful with a stunning view, which is the reason I have returned to this property for the fifth time.'

'The check-in was the most problematic part. I hadn't received any instructions from the host (also not in spamfolder) how to unlock the entry gate to the property. It was already getting dark and the host was also not reachable by telephone. Monica from Trip customer service eventually managed to forward the necessary entry codes to me (many thanks for the assistance!). ++ The room was spacious and convenient, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and toilet were clean and there were enough towels. For those who like to watch TV: a huge flatscreen with plenty of channels. The shared patio with a little swimming pool is very nice with beautiful sea view. The property is quietly situated at a 15 minute walk from the centre of Angra. -- No written instructions (e.g. WiFi password) or general information (amenities) available. There are shared facilities in the property and the kitchen can be used for preparing meals (self catering). Although the reservation mentioned breakfast included, there was no fresh bread brought in. Not the end of the world but better not mention it as an option. Also unclear if items in refrigerator belong to other guests (self caterers) or are for general use so we didn't touch any. The host was not available by telephone for questions and also never responded to my initial calls on the day of check in. The room was in the basement and from time to time some smell from the sewer pipes lingers in the room.'

'Os quartos vem como toda a área do hotel apresentam-se limpos. Os quartos são espaçosos, com varanda, bem decorados e têm máquina de café. A casa de banho do quarto foi renovada, está bonita e funcional e bem equipada com produtos de higiene.  O staff é, todo ele, simpático e prestável.  A minha esposa celebrava o aniversário no dia do check-in e foi presenteada com um cesto de frutas, bolo e até uma vela - obrigado!'

'Неплохой отель, на берегу моря, разнообразный завтрак. Территория неплохая. Единственное, что не понравилось, в крытом теплом бассейне не было свободных лежаков, даже вещи некуда положить. Хотя места там предостаточно поставить их. В целом, все неплохо. Отзывчивый персонал.'

'O pequeno almoço deixa muito a desejar, pouca variedade principalmente de bebidas frias, os funcionários não estão presentes na sala pelo que se torna chato ter de esperar ou procurar pelos mesmos. O hotel não disponibiliza no quarto roupão de banho. Funcionários muito simpáticos, localização ótima.'

'Très bel hôtel, très bien situé. Ma chambre donnait sur les jardins, ce qui était magnifique. Cependant, je me suis faite souvent réveillée par l’entretien des jardiniers ce qui est désagréable en vacances.'

'Loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Very clean and wonderful food, especially the breakfast. The dinner menu was also very good but could use a little more variety'
