This motel is located a very short drive from great restaurants and large grocery stores. The grounds and pool are immaculate, very friendly staff everywhere. Rooms are spotless and our deck was large with a table and 2 chairs. Lower floors have covered patios. Very nice! We would stay here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ”예상치 못한 기쁨의 미로” 맛있는 음식, 반짝반짝 깨끗한 객실, 그리고 혹시 실수로 증인 보호 프로그램에 가입한 건 아닌지 의심하게 만드는 호텔 구조를 찾고 있다면, 바로 이곳이 정답입니다. 음식부터 시작해 볼까요? 셰프의 키스. 세 개의 우편번호를 지나 약간 불법적인 유턴 두 번을 거쳐서라도 다시 그들의 아침 식사를 먹을 수 있을 것 같아요. 스크램블 에그? 폭신한 작은 기쁨의 구름. 베이컨? 너무 바삭해서 해방 신청을 할 정도였어요. 저녁 식사는? 디저트에 청혼했다고 해두죠. 방은? 티끌 하나 없이 깨끗했어요. 수술도 할 수 있을 만큼 깨끗했죠. 침대 옆 탁자 뒤에 팝콘을 떨어뜨려 봤지만 먼지도, 의심스러운 얼룩도, 이상한 머리카락도 없었어요. 10/10, 다시 한번 방문할 거예요. 자… 구조. 멋진 호텔에 방을 예약하는 걸 상상해 보세요. 프런트 데스크에서 미소와 짐을 가득 안고 체크인을 했는데, 술 취한 해적이 그린 것 같은 지도를 건네주더군요. ”차도를 따라가다가 세 번째 덤불에서 왼쪽으로 돌아 세탁실 뒤편으로 들어가세요. 염소들은 무시하세요(장식용이니까요). 그러면 세 번째 인생의 선택에 의문을 품게 되는 순간 바로 당신 방이 나올 거예요.” FBI를 피하려는 듯 뒤쪽으로 차를 몰았습니다. 모든 방향이 부수적인 모험처럼 느껴졌습니다. 호텔 부지에 있는 건지, 아니면 나니아에 온 건지 분간이 안 되는 곳에 도착했습니다. 구글 지도는 멈췄고, 시리마저도 ”야, 넌 혼자야.”라고 했습니다. 하지만 제 방을 찾았을 때는 마치 숨겨진 보물을 발견한 것 같았습니다. 평화롭고 조용했고, 저를 판단했을지도 모를 나무가 보였습니다. 솔직히 말해서요? 그게 이 호텔의 매력이었습니다. 이런 곳은 절대 잊지 못할 겁니다. 다시 묵을 의향이 있나요? 물론입니다. 다음에는 빵가루를 떨어뜨려서 돌아갈 길을 찾을 수도 있을 것 같아요.

Enjoyed my one night stay on a Thursday night in October. Room - Superior Queen #110. $92 nzd. Pros -Cheap -Comfy mattress -Great location -Clean -Spacious room and bathroom -Heat pump which was on when i arrived which kept the room at a comfy temp. -Kind front desk woman on arrival. -Old world architecture. Cons -Noisy heat pump (albeit grateful there was one) -No sound insulation so can hear footsteps easily. -Bed was 2 x singles pushed together and had to sleep either side of the gap. Tip - book a superior room type. It's my experience these are better quality. When you book the lead in room category (deluxe) they're cheaper for a reason. I would return but not on a Friday or Saturday as the sound of the street noise and night clubs would be heard easily. Thanks for a nice stay.

I arrived in Taupo on the morning Air NZ flight from AKL, upon arrival at the Chevron Motel, 4 hours before the published check-in time, I had planned to ask to have my luggage stored while I go about other business. The receptionist kindly asked me to wait while she checked to see if my room was ready, and if so, I could have my room right away. Lucky for me it was, I was very pleased with the initiative and flexibility offered. My booking included a living area with dining table, kitchen, sofa, spare single bed, a separate bedroom, and a dedicated parking space. My stay of 5 nights was very comfortable, and I will definitely use this motel again on my next visit. I would like to offer a few suggestions for improvements, first - a split type AC unit was present in the living room, it would be great if there could be a second unit installed in the bedroom. Internet connectivity, available 24/7, while adequate, did have limited bandwidth affecting video streaming from Netflix/YouTube etc. Lastly, it would be great if the TV provided in the living room had a larger screen. In summary, I was very pleased with my stay at the Chevron Motel, the room offered great value for money, and I was completely relaxed and comfortable during my stay.

I had a great stay at this hostel, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The common areas were clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere for meeting other travelers. I ended up making some new friends here, and we realized we were planning to visit many of the same places, so we explored together. That really made my trip even more memorable. The hostel itself was very clean and well-maintained, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The only issue I encountered was with late check-in. My bus arrived much later than expected, so I wasn't able to arrange an after-hours check-in in advance. I understand that the instructions were provided by email, but I did have a moment of panic because I was asked to call the hostel's phone number. Since I was traveling with only an eSIM and didn't have a New Zealand phone number, I wasn't able to make the call. It would be great if there were an alternative way to contact the hostel for late check-ins, such as WhatsApp, email, or an online messaging system. Overall, this hostel went beyond my expectations, and I'd definitely recommend it to other travelers.

우리는 4인 가족으로 머물렀습니다. 방은 흠 잡을 데없이 깨끗했고 침대는 아름답고 매우 관대한 크기였습니다. 지역 시골 공동체를 연결하는 아름다운 유리 병에 담긴 현지 우유는 큰 감동이었습니다. 모든 가전 제품은 새롭고 속삭였습니다. 우리 모두 잘 잤다는 것을 의미했습니다. Glenys는 아이들을 데려갈 곳에 대한 많은 조언을 해주었습니다. 지역 온수 수영장은 인기가 있었고 놀이터 정원과 무료 가족 즐거움을 위한 바구니 볼 코트가 있는 옆집 도메인, 폭발하는 간헐천은 훌륭한 엔터테인먼트였습니다. 테아로하 산, 슈퍼마켓 및 상점까지 도보로 쉽게 이동할 수 있는 모든 산책로에 매우 편리한 위치입니다. 서비스는 타의 추종을 불허했습니다. 방이 정말 넓어서 텅 빈 것 같은 느낌도 들어요. 발코니에 놓인 커다란 나무 테이블이 정말 마음에 들어요. TV 채널도 다양하고요. 무료 주차장과 지하 주차장은 하루 25달러에 이용할 수 있어요. 엘리베이터를 타면 객실 층으로 바로 갈 수 있어요. 레스토랑에서는 타우포 호수의 한 모퉁이가 보여요. 가격도 적당하고 맛도 좋아요. 야외 수영장과 헬스장도 있고, 겨울에도 사람들이 수영을 하러 와요. 객실에서 로비로 이어지는 복도가 정말 아름다워요. 마음에 들어요. 조식도 꼭 언급해야겠어요. 벌집 모양 쿠키가 있고, 커피콩으로 갈아 만든 커피가 나오고, 치즈 종류도 다양해요. 벽난로에는 진짜 장작이 타서 정말 감동적이에요.

Was a nice room, very spacious and clean. The only complaint was that we had to drive to a different location to check-in. Used it as a stopping off point for activities on the north island, like Hobbiton and the thermal wonderland.

We stayed one night en route to Hobbiton and liked it so much that we stayed another 2 later in our trip. Great location, and Cambridge is a relatively easy base to get to other places from. Beautiful decor throughout, nice finishings and really peaceful. It was very busy during our stay (around Christmas/NY) so a little wait for food/drinks but that’s to be expected. We had positive interactions with all hotel and restaurant staff. My only feedback is that the switches in the rooms have blue lights on them, which, for people that like a black-out room, can disrupt sleep. Hopefully an easy fix!
