I recently stayed at the Palace Hotel & Spa in Buxton and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent, with friendly, professional, and attentive staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Every member of the team was helpful and eager to ensure that everything was perfect. The hotel facilities were impressive. The spa and leisure areas were clean, relaxing, and well maintained, providing the perfect place to unwind. The hotel itself is beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also outstanding. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, all fresh and delicious, and the meals served throughout my stay were of a high standard. The restaurant staff were attentive, and the dining experience was excellent. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the Palace Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Buxton. The combination of exceptional service, excellent facilities, and delicious food made for a memorable and enjoyable visit. I look forward to returning in the future.

入住前就很期待的酒店。知道這家酒店是因為在LP英國中有介紹，據説簡 奧斯汀當年在這裏住過。酒店的工作人員十分有禮貌，我覺得酒店幫我們將預訂的房間升級了，推開門的時候，房間裏的收音機正在播放古典音樂，氛圍十分舒服。整個酒店的裝飾、佈置很講究，有年代感，但也很乾凈。我們在這裏度過非常愉悦的兩天，也給旅途增添了美好的回憶。 酒店的早餐是需要點餐的，兩天盲點了不一樣早餐，但都比較鹹，建議優化一下。當然，不點餐的話自助區也有麪包、牛奶這些基本的早餐提供。早餐區的環境也很好。 如果打算去Chatsworth House，住這裡是非常不錯的選擇！

Explorers Retreat Matlock Bath was a unique and fun experience! As a solo traveler, I loved the quirky cabins and the adventurous atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great tips on local activities. The cabin was clean and cozy, perfect for a solo retreat. The location was stunning, with easy access to beautiful walks and the charming town of Matlock Bath. While the facilities were basic, the overall experience was fantastic. It's a great choice for anyone seeking a bit of adventure and a taste of nature.

Very clean and well maintained property. It was perfect stay, specially very kind staff. And easy to make friends, as lots of creative shared space like lounge, informal library, playing room, cafe etc.

우리는 특별한 날을 위해 1 박 동안 머물 렀습니다. 도착하자마자 우리는 스파 때문에이 호텔을 예약했고 수영장과 사우나를 사용할 계획이었기 때문에 매우 실망스러운 이벤트를 위해 스파가 문을 닫았다고 들었습니다. 이것은 예약시 전달되어야 합니다. 건물과 부지는 인상적이었지만 도착했을 때 우리의 특징적인 수페리어 룸은 얼어붙었습니다. 리셉션은 우리의 요청에 따라 난방을 켰지만 외부가 8도라는 점을 감안할 때 도착 몇 시간 전에 수행했어야 했습니다. 우리는 라디에이터가 미지근하기 때문에 휴대용 히터를 요청하기 전에 코트를 입고 방에 한 시간 동안 앉아있었습니다. 방은 결코 따뜻하지 않았고 우리가 9.15에서 저녁 식사에서 돌아 왔을 때 난방이 다시 꺼졌고 다시 켜달라고 요청해야했습니다. 레스토랑의 음식은 매우 좋았고 서버는 사랑 스럽지만 조직되지 않았습니다. 우리는 호텔 바에서 음료를 마실 계획이었지만 너무 추워서 비어 있고 머물기에 편안하지 않았습니다. 한 명의 직원보다 코어가 호텔의 추위에 대해 불평한다고 들었습니다. 매우 즐거운 숙박이 될 수 있었던 것은 추위에 의해 망쳤습니다. 불행히도, 우리는 돌아 오지 않을 것입니다.

We stayed for one night in December and really like this hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was very good (I recommend booking in advance, as it was busy on a Saturday night), and breakfast in the morning, also very good. We will be happy to return some time!

호텔 내부의 위생상태가 매우 깨끗하고 깔끔합니다 방의 난방, 온수 및 수력은 매우 충분합니다. 산을 오르고 일출을 볼 수있는 호텔 근처에 산책로가 있습니다. 👍🏻

The hotel is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Derby Station, which is very helpful for travelers. However, the room was a little dark, and the lift was out of service during our stay, which could be inconvenient if you have luggage. The bed was too soft for our comfort, and it was difficult to adjust the shower temperature properly. Although it only takes a minute to reach the train station, it’s about a 20-minute walk to get to the main city centre. On the positive side, the check-in process was quick, and the staff were quite friendly and helpful.

A very nice, little hotel with clean room and all the facilities. Good price too. Very happy with my two day stay there to visit family.

Stayed in this hotel as we are visiting the Chatsworth House the next day. Unfortunately we had a penalty charge for stopping our car at the front of the hotel for only 2 mins to off load luggage. It would be better if the hotel mention this before we check in.
