제빌라 프라이베르크

We visited the Seevilla Freiburg in February 2025 and were not disappointed. This is the first winter holiday for us and as non skiers we were a little apprehensive about what to expect. The hotel choice was fabulous, great position on the lake and the views were amazing. The room nice and warm was kept spotlessly clean and was cleaned daily. A powerful shower with lots of hot water. There was a good daily breakfast with lots of choice and fresh coffee, this set up up nicely for the day. The evening meal was also good with several choices and a vegetarian option each night. You had to chose the next evenings meal the night before by filling in a form that was left on the table, a little odd as you do not always know what you fancy to eat the day before, but this did not take away from the quality of the food. The hotel was peaceful and quiet and although next to the train lines the trains were hardly ever heard [ even the large freight trains]. The spa area was open from 3pm daily with a god hot sauna and other steam caldarium's and a lounge area were you could relax on loungers and enjoy the lake and mountain view. The hotel is perfectly placed for the walk around the lake [12km]. if you do the walk anticlockwise wise call in the cafe am dorfplatz in Thumersbach for great coffee and cake. The hotel is also ideally situated for a short walk in to the town and the bars and shops and the main bus terminal for Kaprun and Schmittinhoe ski lifts is a steady 15 minute walk away. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Seevilla Frieburg and will definitely be going back.

The place is beautiful and relaxing, but during my whole stay I was under stress. Because the hotel didn’t deduct the money when I did a check in, they will deduct it when checking out. They have strict rules that make me more stressed. If there is food on floor then they will never clean your room again. Cooking is not allowed , they will charge you money for that. Water hose is not allowed in the bathroom otherwise you will be charged. The parking space is not that big so I was coming back soooo early so I can guarantee a space to park in. No A/C I asked a ground floor room but they told me it’s not available for family!!! The place is so quiet and relaxing and the view from the room is amazing. The breakfast is good. The place is near to the center.

Fantastic hotel, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful views of the lake and mountains, food was fantastic also. Short walk into the village. Complimentary shuttle bus to the town centre and city express ski link was also very helpful. Monica the manager was always on hand to offer any assistance and checking everyone had what they needed. Well recommended

The view from our room was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable and when we found the coffee maker was broken it was quickly replaced. The food was excellent and we liked being able to choose on the previous evening to our meal. That must cut out a lot of waste. It was very easy to get around Zell am See on my mobility scooter, especially along the esplanade. Trip round on the lake was very good as well. Went up to the Krimml falls which were stunning. Too cloudy for a cable car trip on the day we had it planned! Renata at the hotel was extremely helpful. We hope to go back.

We stayed here for a weeks skiing holiday and cannot fault the hotel. Food was lovely with a good choice for breakfast and dinner, all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has amazing views of the lake and mountains. The bedroom was clean and modern and also had the same stunning views. Location is just on the edge of the town but is only 5 minutes walk from the centre and 10 minutes walk to the City Express. The hotel runs a shuttle bus for skiers to and from the City Express in the morning and afternoon. The railway runs by the hotel but we barely heard any noise from passing trains.

Friends treated us to a two-night stay at the Seevilla Freiberg back in 2018. Upfront, costumer service has been brilliant, extremely friendly and accommodating before and during our stay. We were finally able to stay in the hotel in 2022 (covid, lockdown). The hotel was always very quick in responding and answering any queries and booked us in as soon as the possibility arose to stay with them. Thank you! We felt very welcomed and extremely well looked after. Our one-year old son will hopefully remember how lovely all the staff were during our stay, from receptionists to manager, from waiters and waitresses. We loved the food, the fish was amazing every time, and you can’t beat the view and location of this place. We also had amazing massages on-site and the spa is worth a visit.
