호텔 바레(Hotel Ur Bare)

What a wonderful, quaint and friendly hotel. With just 13 rooms you need to book early. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Modern, fresh and clean. It was spacious. The breakfast was brilliant and devoid of usual hotel ‘cheap’ condiments. With fresh jams made locally and juices from heaven. We didn’t eat here but given how busy it was the restaurant was clearly a hit. Our room overlooked the bay. With amazing sunrises across the shimmering breaking waves. The beds super-comfortable and fresh Egyptian cotton sheets. The roof top pool was superb. Just the perfect end to a day on the beach.

1) Spectacular location at the end of Zarautz beach. 100 yards from town but feels much more remote and surrounded with trees. Kids could walk from their room with surfboards to the beach in 5 minutes. 2) Great breakfast, wish we tried dinner there. It looked good too. 3) Service was extremely friendly. They made a dinner reservation at a restaurant we won't forget, El Astillero. Best meal of our trip. Seafood and steak a long walk or short drive around the corner in a neighboring seaport. Restaurant was across the parking lot from where the fisherman unload. We tried to decipher the menu with the waitress and she gave up and took us into the kitchen where the chefs were excited to show us all the fish and the grill. Don't miss it! 4) Rooms were beautifully done and recently too. Modern clean style.

Only lateral sea view from the room (paid as a sea view room) and very noisy as the room is located just above a cafe open until very late in the night. For the price paid it is absolutely unacceptable. I would not raccomend as there is a lot of better offer for this price or less just there around.

Maravilloso !!! Las instalaciones...las vistas y el trato de Jokin y todo el equipo ESPECTACULAR ,CERCANIA Y AMABILIDAD!! Una estancia de lujo , la júnior suite y super super bonita! Lo rematamos comiendo en el remate Aiten Etxe, de Javi Sierra, superrrrr exquisito todo ! Un tandem muy equilibrado hotel y restaurante! Volveremos

Excelente hotel de lujo con unas vistas privilegiadas a la playa de Zarautz. Una apuesta por la sencillez y los materiales naturales. Gusto exquisito. Como colofón una cocina muy destacada de la mano de Javi Sierra. Personal de sala atento, eficiente, cercano y amable.

Als je naar het surfplaatsje Zarautz in Baskenland gaat neem dan dit hotel. Een echt design hotel. Zeer ruime kamers, goede bedden, fijne douche en handdoeken. Heerlijk vers ontbijt. Vriendelijke mensen. Op loopafstand van het strand, zeewater is heerlijk! Parkeren gratis bij hotel.

Excellent séjour à tous points de vue !

Bakarrik kafetegian izan ginen, baina halere konturatu genuen zer ondo dagoen hotela. Antzinako itxura errespetatu arren, ondo erabiltzen dute minimalista itxura dituzten altzariak eta antzinako altxariak. Nahasketa horrekin diseñatzaileak armoniak lortzen dute. Tan sólo estuvimos en la cafetería, pero aún así nos dimos cuenta de lo bien que está el hotel. Aún respetando la imagen antigua, utilizan bien los muebles de aspecto minimalista con los muebles antiguos. Con esa mezclalos diseñadores consiguen armonía.
