Hilltops Retreat Motor Inn

This stay was good in general. Proximity to NRG park venue of the OTC event is an advantage. The hotel should consider reduced rate to be more competitive.

On a solo bike tour. Got into town late. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. I found the room comfortable and clean. Aircon was good . I would stay again. The motel is about 5km out of town, will need a taxi if you plan to go into town.

It wasn’t a good experience the AC was terrible the cleanliness was horrible there a pipe sticking out of the tub ceiling that was emitting a foul odor just thought it would be better for the price we paid very disappointing

Upon arrival staff was rude and unhelpful. We had to make a last minute second reservation because my father was sick and we couldn’t share a room. Our first reservation was a 2 bedroom and the second was just a 1. They charged us full price of the first for both with no exceptions. We were charged $20 additional just to park in the parking lot. The rooms were dirty, bathrooms were dirty, light bulbs were out in bedroom and bathroom. Building is overall dirty and has chipping/peeling paint. Hotel is really dated. We honestly feel we over paid and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

The door entering the building did. It shut. I don’t think customers should have to pay for parking when your not parking they vehicle. Because you are allowing others to park in the hotel parking lot for another event down the street.

Rooms in desperate need of upgrade. Don't know how the housekeeping staff can keep it as clean and tidy as it is. Staff was great, but little or no public transportation and limited parking, poor parking flow and rude entrance "guards" even with a Wyndham sticker. Hotel is close to NRG but you can't get there from here. Very noisy. Skip this hotel.

Horrible miscommunication on pricing number of rooms I needed, and their willingness to correct the problem when talking to staff and management. it would take a great deal for me to ever stay in their hotel again.

No hot water, parking complete joke, waiting 30-45 min to get on the property, restaurant can't charge to your room nor run a tab while you sit there to eat and drink, have to cash out every drink and order
