Thus is a nice hotel. We stayed for one night. Clean with comfy bed. The owner is lovely. Great breakfast. Personally I think it would be good if they had a bar for guests to have a drink as there is no pub close by. Some people have mentioned the church clock opposite keeping them awake. I didn't notice it and thought it was quaint.

We stayed at the end of July for one night only as we were involved with the Honiton Show held locally. We would have loved to have stayed longer as the welcome was very friendly but professional, our bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. We appreciated lots of little extra touches such as bath robes and the large bath towels. The breakfasts were excellent with a great deal of choice. We agree whole heartedly that the Belfry offers great value for money and comes with our highest recommendation.

What a great find. Very comfortable, breakfast is amazing. Great for coeliacs. En suite facilities are great and the owners are excellent. Nothing being too much trouble. Fabulous view and very centrally located. Great place to stopover within very easy reach of A303

A great 1 night stay. Warm welcome upon arrival. Free parking. Beautiful surroundings Fridge downstairs to help yourself to milk and juice. Bedroom spotless, towels in bathroom smelt amazing! Toiletries provided. Comfy bed in the Keats room. Breakfast lovely with plenty more of choice.

This is a superbly run establishment. The owners really care and take pride in what they do. A converted Victorian village school, set upon a hill, with panoramic views over the glorious Devon countryside. My room was situated on the first floor, end gable, with the most beautiful window. The double bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and the en-suite shower room, light, modern and airy. my cooked breakfast was delicious. Free parking in the old school playground. Give me detention any day!

We stayed at the belfry for two nights earlier this month and were really impressed by the standard of the accommodation, the service, and (of course!) the breakfasts. The building is beautiful and it’s so expertly run- with every convenience for guests, from fancy shower gel and shampoos to a fridge with milk and juice available around the clock. Each room is fabulously clean, well-presented and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast is organised with precision but it never takes away from a friendly relaxed atmosphere- you just get exactly what you asked for, quickly and perfectly cooked. And it’s delicious. Especially the fruit and yoghurt pot. The belfry is a real gem. Highly recommend.
