Beautiful restored building with an authentic charm and a great location near the trendy waterfront of Xlendi. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable and showers with real high pressure hot water. Pool area a great place to chill and gaze at the view of nearby cliffs. Breakfast buffet was simple but a la carte eggs very tasty and great coffee. The best part of my 3 night stay was the extremely helpful and accommodating front desk who helped me with all my requests. Will definitely stay here again on my next diving holiday!

A very luxurious and quiet hotel. Loved everything about it. Midway between Victoria and Xlendi (both walkable). Best of both worlds. Pool area was superb. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was amazing. Just beautiful 😍

The staff at this charming hotel were outstanding. They were friendly and accommodating but still very professional. We had an issue, not related to the hotel, they did their best to help us and it was very much appreciated. The hotel itself is lovely, very spacious room, excellent bathroom with a large walk in shower which we loved, the bathroom is always the one I find fault with, even in much more expensive five star hotels in Europe, but this was delightful. You will not regret staying here, enjoy!

Very nice rooms and all with the views. it is very clean, staff where great and very helpful. Breakfast was good and fulfilling. It was a very relaxing holiday and a perfect one. Child friendly boutique.

We chose this hotel primarily because of its walking distance to Xlendi which we know and love and Victoria. The building is lovely although split between the hotel and the restaurant which is under different management which I did not realise when booking. The restaurant is not always open for dinner and is hired out for private functions of which there were two while we were there. Given the location of our room noise could be heard while the events were taking place and also at breakfast. Our room had a corner balcony with jacuzzi which was nice and had the evening sun. However the restaurant was directly above and on one evening there was a wedding reception which in its self was not a problem because we were out most of the evening but the man operating a drone was! He was filming the reception but kept hovering the drone opposite our balcony while we were enjoying the last of the sun which was disrespectful. The second event took place on the pool terrace and was very noisy. The restaurant also operates the pool bar not the hotel. Unfortunately we found breakfast underwhelming. The set up needs to be reviewed and perhaps have two coffee machines in place to avoid waiting in line. Sometimes the buffet food looked sparse and provided on a shoe string. I have never been to a luxury hotel where a small kettle has to be boiled by the guest to make a cup of tea. Also the herbal teas were almost under lock and key! The place lacks atmosphere and on reflection we stayed too long, one or two nights would be the maximum. Apart from the initial service of the room for the rest of our stay the servicing was basic. Not once was the outside table cleaned, nor the loo roll’s replaced fully. The jacuzzi was only cleaned for the next guest. We experienced on three occasions members of the housekeeping staff siting on chairs in the rooms as we passed by on their Mobil phones and on one occasion one laying on the bed relaxing who promptly jumped up when we passed the room which was hilarious! During our 6 night stay only one bottle of water per person provided. The ugly dispensing units for shampoo, body wash and hand soap, but no conditioner did not say luxury to me. Only a shower cap is provided and not all the other usual products such as cotton buds etc. The pool towels are only for use on the premises and a fine levied if you take them outside of the property! It really felt like a B&B rather than a luxury hotel as advertised.
