Very friendly staff, picturesque surroundings (except roads from Trapani to the property which were rather full of garbage...). I loved the park around the property with plenty of interesting plants and trees, I found it very romantic. My child liked animals a lot, went to check them a couple of times per day. The pool was also good - clean and big. And, yes, we ordered the tastiest pizza here (highly recommended)! Also, in one small shop just 2 min drive from the property we bought the best black pecorino cheese in the whole trip (such could not be found in big supermarkets later on).

We really loved our stay at Duca di Castelmonte. The staff are great and were really helpful in organising a birthday cake for my husband on his 40th at dinner, as well as helping us book taxis and speak to car hire companies when we had a problem with our car hire! We stayed in the safari tents in the beautiful garden with olive trees and small playground - it was a gorgeous setting and nice to be staying near a couple of other families so the kids could make friends. The food was lovely, especially the breakfasts which had a huge selection including fresh cakes and fruit from the farm. The pool was a little chilly for us in October but we still swam and had a fun time! The weather in Oct was perfect - not too hot but not cold at all. Our kids loved picking pomegranates from the trees, meeting the donkeys and running around the courtard at breakfast. The building itself is lovely and very historic. The restaurant can get very busy with locals and guests so do book ahead if you want to eat! The food is delicious!

Food was lovely but service was slow and they seemed a bit over whelmed as forgot dishes . They also served pizza as starter when we asked for it to come with mains so 2 family members were finished dinner before the other 4 were even served . The food however was fantastic so can’t fault that at all! Shame. Also super popular so defo book !

We stayed at Duca di Castelmonte for one week with our 3 year old daughter and my parents and found the staff to be kind, respectful, and ready to help with any problem, from the cleaning staff to the restaurant, to the front desk. Our room and all the amenities were always kept very clean. October is the start of the slow season, so many activities weren't available, but we knew this before going. However, the staff went out of their way to give our daughter pony rides and organize boat trips. The restaurant was delicious with fantastic pizza. Breakfast was a succulent buffet of homemade desserts and savoury american style breakfast. The staff even made my parents feel at home by adhering to their strange coffee requests. We can't recommend this agriturismo enough and we hope that one day we'll go back again for another vacation.

Sono stata in questo locale con amici per una cena di beneficienza, abbiamo pagato 25 euro a persona, ci hanno dato come antipasti un cucchiaio scarso di siero di ricotta, un piccolissimo paninetto con le panelle, uno spiedino con due pezzettini di salsiccia invisibili, intervallati da frammenti di zucchina. Poi c'è stato il giro pizza, ma le pizze erano a piacere del pizzaiolo, nessuno ha chiesto le nostre preferenze (come normalmente si dovrebbe fare). Arrivano le pizze, le assaggiamo e...ci viene da vomitare, a dir poco! Impasto duro e dal sapore orribile, immangiabile. Pizza con la Nutella talmente dura che se l'avessimo tirata verso un muro, avrebbe rimbalzato. Sconsigliatissimo!!!!!

Essere ospiti, ovvero che pagano altri è sempre difficile lamentarsi. Ma essere serviti dopo un’ora perché per gusti ed intolleranze al giro pizza ti portano una pizza cruda ed immangiabile è offensivo.
