마이 홈 호텔(Myhome Hotel Winterthur)

We stayed here one night for a long layover. Only thing I will say it is it not soundproof. You can literally hear people using the restrooms. We were only here for a night and it served it’s purpose. The staff was amazing and they made our stay!

Very friendly reception staff

The Hotel is in an extreme bad condition. Smelling and filthy room. The disgrace gets even further as the GM shouted at its personell infront of guests. Neither manners nor ethical behaviour. Just disgusting at its best. This hotel should get scrutinised by the local authorities regarding hygiene, maintenance and management as there seems to be too little staff. The personnel though (e.g.) reception, trys everything to solve an issue. The restaurant seemed to be more or less organised.

While the check in was friendly with a nice woman, it took a very long time. Also, we didn't get the room we booked/requested (2 big beds). But the given room was quite big, so that wasn't too much an issue. What was problematic was that the flooring is carpet, and the bed covers were feathers. My wife is asthmatic and didn't sleep well at all. When we checked out, the man at the reception wanted to make us pay again (we had already booked and paid online) and it took over 5 minutes to convince him that we had already paid; an akward situation. Positives: free parking, some shops/restaurants around. Negatives: bedding/carpets.

I dont usually leave reviews, but this was the worst experience for us. My family booked 2 nights at this horrible hotel. If I can give it ZERO stars, I would. We booked the family room with balcony and kitchenette. The room was 26 Celsius when we checked in, we asked Panta the guy at front desk to come up to our room to see why the room was so hot. The whole hotel was cool except our room. He opened the ceiling where the vent was and said it was closed, but its open now and the room should cool. NOPE, it was 26.5 Celsius all night it felt like a sauna. The reception isn't 24hrs, so we were stuck in misery until the next morning. We decided we wanted to check out in the morning. Upon checking out, Panta said he can move us to a lower level room where its much cooler because the upper level rooms are really hot. What?! He just admitted that he knew the room we were in was hot and let us to suffer all night when he should've offered us a better room when we checked in. I don't like dishonesty and fooling people for their money. Panta said he was going to talk to management about giving us a refund. We requested a refund for the second night we didn't stay and the breakfasts we prepaid for. I have email the hotel, called the hotel, messaged a complaint through *********** and ultimately the hotel refuses to refund us a penny. We have been taken advantage of. I hope this review will help other families decide whether they want to take a chance staying here.

My main concern is the room: carpet not hygienic and bed quilt made from down. My wife is asthmatic and she didn't appreciate the hotel at all. Add the fact that at checkout the man wanted to make me pay again my (pre-paid) reservation, I would not go back to this hotel.

Really good base for a busy holiday, good access to public transport and shops, clean and tidy, friendly staff, i would stay again

Clean rooms, parking is secure and underground.

We were pleasantly surprised at how the modern looking build had spacious and comfortable rooms. The service was very accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay !
