Just had a great birthday weekend here, the lady who ran the hotel, I didn't get her name was just lovely, very kind and attentive, room was clean and well equipped and very quiet...just be careful if your over 6ft and in room 10, the beams, which are a great feature are quite low! Thank you for a lovely stay, would definitely go back!

Fabulous hotel,Fabulous rooms,Fabulous location,Fabulous check in, Fabulous breakfast. This hotel is not to be missed, filled with real personal little touches like hone made biscuits in the room and lounge area. Breakfast was brilliant with home made jams, beautiful breads and cereals. Credit to the hosts

We stayed here at the end of May for a spontaneous trip to Grasmere. We've explored other areas of the Lake District previously but this was an all new area for us and we can't have been happier. Grasmere is fantastic, but staying at Moss Grove Organic Hotel made it even better! The staff we met were so helpful. They couldn't do enough to help you settle in, and they were nice to chat to. The location is great too, it's a very short walk to the lake, and a short drive to Rydal. The room we stayed in had a balcony and I recommend it so much!!! On such a beautiful sunny day it was lovely being able to sit and watch the world go by. The products in the bathroom were fragrant and really good, the little extras like hot chocolate, teas and coffee in the room were great too. The bed was so cool! And very comfy. Going down for breakfast it was very obvious that this hotel stays true to their mission statement. I got the idea that if it couldn't be sourced sustainably/organically/locally, it wasn't there, as everything we did try tasted 'real' and absolutely gorgeous. The only things about this hotel I could say anything even slightly negative about was the parking situation. If you want to be in and out with your car rather than on foot or on one of the fantastic bus services, or are the type of person who would find this very frustrating, this might not be the right hotel for you. We witnessed someone get very frustrated over the parking situation, and us ourselves got mildly annoyed at it at points, but the staff are very 'on it', and as soon as they saw a problem with the car park for us, they came straight out to help. We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. Thank you Moss Grove Organics for making us feel right at home!

Excellent hotel. The rooms are first rate ,the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was the best ever. An amazing choice of food. For the hot choice eggs we're available in anyway you wished , cooked to order to accompany the other cooked foods. I would definitely recommend this venue. It is also centrally placed in the delightful village of Grasmere.

Lovely hotel. Staff are lovely, room very clean and well kept. Breakfast good too. Lovely comfortable bed and nice organic toiletries. Perfect location in Grasmere. Would highly recommend. Great restaurants very close too.

This was our second time staying here. We stayed in a superior room. Beautiful room and amenities. Extremely clean and the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Lovely breakfast, just missing some beans ! Looking forward to going back!

Rooms are excellent and the beds are amazing! The rooms are also very clean! The reason for the four stars is the breakfast, only thing on offer was some sausage, mushroom and fried tomatoes so we passed on the breakfast and went to a local cafe

Amazing stay here,room very spacious and clean,spa bath a Bonus,the breakfast was outstanding,all homemade and fresh,stunning.ideally located for the surrounding areas and also many hikes from here,the reason we stayed here.highly recommended.

My 23-year-old daughter and I enjoyed five fabulous days and nights in Grasmere at the Moss Grove. The inn is ideally located in this charming town, with wonderful hiking and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Our room provided outstanding comfort, highlighting a luxurious bed, tub and shower. The breakfasts were delicious and offered abundant choices. Most importantly, the staff at the Moss Grove was extraordinary. With special thanks to them, we enjoyed every moment of our vacation!
