早餐特別棒！店主特別熱情，還會對中國人講恭喜發財，還幫我挪車，一級棒！

挺好的，有早餐，離火車站很近。

Room was warm and cosy with very comfy beds. Host thankfully showed us how to use keys as I had completely forgotten the lost art of door opening. After his lesson on how to open doors I felt untouchable and powerful, like I could almost open a door completely unaided. This came in handy as I needed to return to my car to retrieve my phone charger. With my new found powers I was able to enter and exit the B&B completely unassisted. The breakfast was entertaining with the host insisting on serving the breakfast stripped to the waist and wearing an apron. While he was serving our breakfast he dropped a sausage. He casually picked it up off the floor and dusted it off with his chest hair while chanting “the sausage fell all the way down there, but I will make it pure with my chest hair” and placed it back on my plate with a wink. Absolutely delicious. Would return. Thanks Andy

Extremely stuffy hallway, needs proper ventilation. Very unwelcoming. The owner seems to want to bother people with conversation on controversial subjects. He opened the morning conversation with conflict in Palestine(!). After I managed to shut down his and now the other guest's fatalistic opining and switched respectfully to his tour knowledge he extremely quickly pivoted to start talking about race. The milk we were served was sour. Not everyone wants to dive in to controversial subjects, especially when the initiator is wrong. He should try opening with his Beatles memories, and find some intellectual debate elsewhere. I left breakfast early to avoid.

Excellent little hotel, was not expecting such an enjoyable visit. Rooms were a little dated but this only added to the charm, very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed and very good breakfast to suit all tastes. The owner goes out of his way to ensue that all guests have the best experience, lovely chap. As a budget option this will be hard to beat.

Had an overnight stay on a very wet October day ! Andy was very approachable and friendly . Our room was clean , warm and spacious . We literally used it to sleep in .and had a shower . Breakfast was included in the price ( tho we stupidly booked via *********** and paid more ) and was freshly made to order , with ample choice . Even at the *********** price , it’s value for money . We’ve stayed in lots of accommodation in the Lake District - this certainly wasn’t the worst !!!! Got the direct number for booking if we need it again !
