Wow what a place . The room was huge overlooking the ocean and the attention to detail from the hosts was incredible . Easy check in and so close to Salinas restaurant and the village The rear Decked area overlooks the lagoon with several hot tubs and relaxing beds to relax . Don’t miss this one if you are going to Wilderness. We will be back !

What an amazing, relaxing, beautifull place this was. From the minute you walk in it feels like you are in a tropical paradise. The staff was friendly and the rooms have more then enough space. Kitchen was well equipt for quick meals. And beds on the deck over looking the Touwsriver was my favourite spot. Would love to go again soon!

What a lovely place! We had a wonderful week vacation. Treated like royalty. Very friendly staff and the owners are like family. I would recommend this beautiful guest house to anyone who want to retreat in luxury.

Renovations and Extensions onThis New Villa Sol was just Completed. 2 Small Heated and Non heated Pools played out in The Tropical Gardens and Decks, The Villa overlook the River and ocean. Rooms Were made more Sound Proofed and Modern Nice. Safes, Nespressos, new Decor and Art and much more were added to The Villa to make Your stay more special. Welcome to The New Villa Sol

The accommodation is beautiful! The view is to die for and it was like waking up in paradise. The decor in the room is stunning and everything is clean and tasteful. Would definitely love to return to this romantic setting.

We were on a trip of a life time to South Africa by following the route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. One of our stop overs was in Wilderness where we were booked in to the Villa Sol Hotel. We arrived there after a long drive & the reception we had on arrival was very unsupportive & lacked any transfer of information of the location. I have to say the room we stayed in was absolutely brilliant but the reception on arrival & during our stay was very poor. The Villa stated it had a pool & a bar but there was no way these were available for us. The pool had netting over it & the bar area looked like a private area for the owners. Very disappointing. But the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the lack of breakfast or breakfast vouchers so we had to go & search for breakfast without any support from the owners of the property. Whilst this was very disappointing the cost of food in SA is very cheap so we didn't feel too bad finding our own places to eat but the fact we were not given vouchers was in my opinion very shoddy. So I would not recommend this stop over because of what they state is available in the hotel but isn't & the lack of breakfast vouchers.
