We have stayed many times at the Chateau and while its the nicest accommodations in Westport, it was a little disappointing as the quality has gone down since our last visits. The front desk staff were amazing and always greeted us and asked how our day was. The pool was great (according to my two boys) however, the hot tub was closed. Upon entering our room, it was unbearably hot and stuffy (it was a warm day for Westport that day). We searched for the temp. control and found that there is no air conditioning, only a tall fan. We opened the windows and saw that the screen was slightly bent, which let in bugs such as a giant moth that was flying around our room late at night. Turning on the tv, we found that there is no cable and only Netflix available (but you must have your own login). We tried logging in and streaming a movie, but the WIFI is so incredibly slow that it buffered every 2 mins and we gave up as it was infuriating. Overall, it wasn't a terrible stay.. but definitely not one that I would spend over $200 a night for again.
