This is a hidden gem just north of Los Angeles. Peaceful with gorgeous rooms and an outstanding spa. It was booked on a whim with no knowledge of the area on a last minute vacation and we could not have been happier. The area was quiet, easy and the staff was incredibly laid back but still responsive

We celebrated our anniversary on Thursday April 11 and it was our first time staying in this wonderful hotel. The staff was very helpful. The room very clean and comfortable and the parking was very easy. We dinned in Mediterraneo Restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The food and a**osphere were superb. We also visit the night club and had a fun time. We will come back again. Maria S.

Lovely spacious room with a view and balcony. Beautiful grounds for walking, golf course and spa. We chose this resort because of its proximity to the Ronald Reagan Museum and Library. There are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The Westlake Village Inn is in Westlake Village, an artificial community reminiscent of various TV shows and movies. If you have to stay there or in the vicinity for whatever reason, the Westlake Village Inn is a good choice that offers a clean, spacious room in well-kept garden area with nice amenities (pool, gym, two restaurants in walking distance). The proximity to the freeway would also make it a good layover on a roadtrip. Staff is friendly. Parking is free and ample. On the negative side, you can hear some freeway noise when outside of the room and there is no vault in the room.

I stayed here for one night on my way to LA for business and I got one of the higher end corner suites. The room was nice, although I thought a bit overpriced. I really appreciated all the beautiful trees and other greenery I could see out all of the windows. The room was very comfortable and clean, but I have some complaints. First, there is no bar or place to get food or coffee at the hotel. You have to walk all the way over to this whole other area where there are the restaurants. I was there on a Friday night and I was tired and hungry. I walked all the way down to where these restaurants are and it was like a crazy overcrowded amusement park! It was overwhelming. Tons of cars and people piling out of them, and the restaurants were so packed I couldn’t even get in to just grab a glass of wine! It was awful. I walked all the way back to my room and just ate the snacks I had in my travel bag. I travel a fair amount and I strongly feel that any type of hotel - regardless of the star rating or room rates, there needs to be at least one option to get some basic provisions like water, coffee, and something to eat. They don’t even have a small gift shop or even a vending machine for water. This is an upscale boutique hotel and I was shocked there wasn’t any type of option for food or drink on the property. There’s really no excuse. There was also a lot of loud road noise from the freeway and loud noise from the air conditioner units close to my room. Two other downsides were no elevator to get to the second floor rooms (which is were I stayed) and at night, all the landscaping lights stayed on and even with the shutters closed, there was a lot of very bright light coming into the room all night long. Thankfully I always travel with eyeshades - they were critical for that night! This hotel does have charm and it was comfortable and very safe, but they really miss the mark on this critical criteria!

This hotel is very noisy. They have events going on weekends and there is a club within the hotel property. I think since the hotel is like an apar**ent complex, the staff has no clue what goes on in the units. On our stay there the first day we had to complain about a party going on right across hall where people were just coming in and out of the villa yelling, laughing and just standing in the corridor being super loud. The second day a car alarm started going off at 12:30 am. Around 2am the car alarm was still going on and off so I put some clothes on and walked to the lobby area to complain but the front desk lady said there was nothing they could do about it. I know I wasn’t the only one complaint because on my way there I saw a couple guest on their balconies and out in their pajamas trying to figure out which car it was. At 2:40 the alarm was still going on so I decided to call the police. I think the front desk should have called a tow truck but instead they did nothing. If you want a good nights rest stay at the Hyatt regency or the four seasons right around the corner.

This Westlake Village Inn is just amazing from the rooms to the grounds. It offers so many amenities from several restaurants. pools, spa and more. Try the Stonhaus Cafe for morning coffee and pastries.

If I could give minus 1000 stars I would. Westlake Inn - where luxury guests meet police and harassment! I still can't believe they called a police on the disabled guest while I had an episode! It was a nigh**are! When you think of a 4-star hotel - you think of exceptional service, polite staff that knows what they are doing, where they take care of your every need, and of course exceptional privacy, and valuing their customers and their guests. Yep, they don't have 4-star hotel service, more like zero star hotel, because otherwise they wouldn't let this happen to me. Or maybe it's a some type of profiling and unless you drive a Bentley no one gives a crap about you. Idk. You be the judge. My friend invited me to stay at this hotel for her birthday party. We live in LA but she wanted a small getaway celebrating her big day. All was well, we left our stuff in the room, went to a restaurant and bar, came back to room to celebrate but unfortunately, I realized I forgot my medication that I MUST take early morning (I have a chronic condition) so I decided to go back home at night to make sure I take it on time. Sleeping for 2-3 hours and driving didn't appeal to me as I would be groggy and in pain without my meds. Birthday girl walked me to the car and went to sleep in the room we just came from. I got in the car and as usual checked my heart rate and it was too fast so I decided to lay down for a bit on the back sit until I feel better so I can sustain a long drive (I can't sit or stand for too long without getting ill). Security came. He said I wasn't allowed to sleep in the car. I said I have a room but I need to be home early so I decided to drive now. I have a disability and I need to rest for about 15 mins and I will go. He asked me what I have (which is inappropriate since it's private medical information, HIPAA law exists for this reason) but I shared it anyway in hopes he would understand and maybe help. It's a tachycardia episode, I just need to lie down for a bit until my heart rate is calmer and I will go. He kept harassing me and on top of that pointing at things inside my car and asking what it is which wasn't appropriate as well. I said I don't want to wake my friend, it's her birthday and she is a light sleeper and she was really looking forward to spending early morning enjoying the pool and if she is asleep now and I wake her she won't be able to fall asleep for a while again and I will feel bad if she doesn't get a good rest on her birthday. I need to go anyway I just need 15 minutes laying down. He wouldn't stop harassing me so I drove off but realized my heart rate is still bad and I can't really stop anywhere as it was the middle of the night and scary to park on the road in the middle of nowhere so I decided to go back to hotel until I feel ok to drive. I'm a guest for God's sake! Went to sit in the lobby since apparently I can't sit in my car. Asked the receptionist if it's ok to sit here and she said ok. The security gua
