Great destination. Beautiful setting. Scenic. Great staff

A short drive from Joburg but feels like you have truly escaped the city. Gorgeous location along the river and good sized garden suite with terrace to simply breathe. Stunning spa and great food and service all round. Perfect choice for a quick getaway but next time we'll definitely stay longer and really soak up the surroundings and explore more. Glenburn is a real gem!

What a beautiful peaceful place. It was well worth the money spent. With such lovely staff who were always willing to help with a smile.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Glenburn Lodge where we celebrated by wife's birthday. From the booking process, the spa, the private dinner in the wine cellar and the towel art and card in the room when we arrived, everyone went above and beyond to make the stay as special as possible!! Special shout out to Charlie, our waiter for the private dinner, who was superb the whole evening! Great hotel with fantastic service and excellent staff & management.

Arrived Sunday, early afternoon and the reception was very welcoming and accommodating and smooth. Easy parking and walk to the room (suite). A little concerned when looking at the rooms on the ground floor, with bad tears in the curtain lining. ENtering our room, allowed me to forget thqat but think GBL, should look at replacing the torn curtain lining. Everything esle was superb. My wife enjoyed the best De Luxe Pedi ever and really good value for money. We will look to go again in the very near future

We had our 5 year vow renewal at GLS and everything turned out amazing. From prepping to the actual event. I must commend the staff, Pieter, who looked after us prior to the event, and Shudu who made sure service on the day ran smoothly - it was absolutely amazing. Did I mention the Belle Ame decor? Hanli truly surpassed every expectation I had. Happiness all the way

Most welcoming surprise was the giraffes & impala. It looks like you had a baby giraffe on the Friday night... Most pleasing to arrive to lovely animals & area

Overall good place to stay in, couple of complaints with the room itself but nothing major, lovely scenery

What an amazing weekend, on arrival the staff was excellent, special dinner was set up in the cellar for our wedding anniversary and roses to round it off. Room was beautiful set up with chocolates and champagne. Will do a full review later with photos taken during our hike in the mountain. and stay. We have been to Glenburn lodge so many times each time with a happy memory, always a first choice when selecting a place away from home.
