Gravetye Manor

오늘은 고정 가격 점심 메뉴를 먹으러 Gravetye Manor에 갔습니다. 비에도 불구하고 우리는 여전히 식당 창문에서 정원과 싹트는 봄 꽃의 멋진 전망을 볼 수 있었습니다. 특히 다음 코스가 맛있어서 빵과 함께 제공되는 허니 버터에 놀랐습니다. 전반적으로 아뮤즈 부쉬는 두껍고 빠르며 맛이 다양했습니다. 일부는 좋았고 일부는 확실히 그렇지 않았으며 실제 메인 코스보다 더 많은 것처럼 보였습니다. 일부는 아무 맛도 없었습니다. 작은 꽃잎 조각과 요정 테이블을 장식할 미세한 야채가 있었지만 간신히 한 입만 했다. 주요 생선 코스는 압도적이었고 야채는 농담이었습니다. 전체 콜리플라워 작은 꽃도 아니고 꽃의 아주 작은 부분 하나입니다. 다시 한 번 요정에게는 좋은 양입니다. 다른 야채는 바삭바삭한 녹색 '잎'이었습니다. 바다****일 수도 있었지만 야채로서는 실망스러웠습니다. 저는 그것을 바삭바삭한 것처럼 손에 들고 먹었습니다. 뵈르 블랑과 파이프 코일 안에 회색빛이 도는 부드러운 것이 들어 있었는데 그게 뭔지 전혀 몰랐습니다. 언급할 가치가 있는 것은 Nyetimber 한 잔과 깔끔한 ​​여성용 객실이 도착했을 때 거실에서 활활 타오르는 장작불이었습니다.

We booked the set course lunch at Gravetye Manor for a birthday celebration and could not fault it. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted in the car park and escorted to Reception. The a**osphere is lovely overlooking the garden. Each course was beautifully presented and a very nice extensive wine list. Service was good, very attentive and we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch so thank you.

I had arranged a private lunch for my daughter's first hen party and was not disappointed. From the communication with Megan and the others in the events team to the actual day was above expectation. The Manor is beautiful and we had a chance to walk around the grounds/gardens before our meal (there was a boot room providing wellies for those whose shoes were not suitable for the walk). All the staff were always on hand to help and provide us with our drinks/canapes and three course meal. The private dining room was already spectacular when we arrived and we were allowed to put up some balloons etc to add to the celebration. The food was delicious, I had the vegan choice and my daughter the vegetarian choice and we were not disappointed. I would definitely recommend Gravetye Manor for any special occasion and hope to revisit soon. Thank you

Both the hotel and the restaurant are at the very top of my comfort zone, but I was advised by a friend that the memories will last for ages. The staff are great, the rooms comfortable -- even luxurious -- and the dining experience as good as it gets. While the hotel promotes it as a place for special occasions, it's worthwhile thinking that you are worth a such an occasion to be treated well in a setting that offers a glimpse into the past and recognizes the importance of being in the present and enjoying life.

Amazing food set menu for lunch with lots of choice and fabulous service! Beautiful setting with lovely views from the restaurant. This place is really worth a visit we last came 9 years ago and wow what a difference wish we hadn’t left it so longing to Come back! We booked for lunch it wasn’t rushed and the a**osphere was very relaxing.

We've had the most wonderful first stay at this exceptional hotel, where to start! First class service and food, and the best gardens I've e ever seen at a hotel and I've been to quite a few. The whole experience was superb. Only a few thoughts we had a lovely classic room which we liked but for the money we felt the bathroom let it down a bit. The basin plug did not work ad it had not been fitted properly and the shower above the bath was inadequate at this standard of hotel and room I would ecpect much better. That said we had a fantastic stay thank you to all your wonderful staff who made our stay so memorable. We were part of the Henderson group celebrating a 70th birthday.

This place is exceptional! The restaurant is so beautiful and dining here is such a beautiful experience, everything is perfect! We’re never disappointed! They have a really nice bar too, arrive early for pre dinner drinks, you won’t regret it!

Just one word: brilliant! Worth every penny - the highest level of service, superb food and rooms where every need has been thought of. And the garden ....... Just beautiful. We have stayed several times over the last 40 years and the hotel just gets better and better. No more needs to be said!!

This was us, having finally decided to book and get very excited as the time approached . The staff, food, garden, ambiance were just brilliant. It does not need more reviews to get this across , it is just a top, “bucket list” place to go. The Gardens, we were there at Daffodil season, are so refreshing in the “Wild Garden” planning of William Robinson and to just wander round is joyous. Talking to one of Gardeners was so revealing of the attention to detail to produce an all year round garden-visit experience. The whole hotel thing, from the personal greeting as we drove up to the hotel, to the professional manner of every staff member, to the food we had, a taste experience of awesome levels, and a room that could hardly be bettered with a corner view of the garden area, to the Dining Room with its glass fronting on to the garden itself , all made it just the experience you say afterwards” I am so glad we decided to go for it”. Yes it’s not cheap, it’s value for a lot of money to give lots of memories, and photo opportunities as well. Our last comment as we drove out was “ When can we return at another part of the year to see a different seasonal planting display”. JUST DO IT ,
