I stayed with Barbara in 2021 and had a great experience, so I decided to return in mid-July for a four day stay. Barbara was extremely accommodating and informative when booking my stay, and she sent a taxi to pick us up from our ferry ride. I love the architecture of the bed and breakfast and couldn’t get enough of the view. The room was cleaned daily, had a powerful AC, and the interior design is to die for. The design elements of the restroom, super spacious bed, and panoramic view made me feel like royalty. The breakfast provided was simple, tasty, and nutritious. I will definitely try to replicate Barbara’s cooking at home! I can’t wait to plan my next stay at Roatan B&B 🥰

Such a charming and architecturally special bed and breakfast in West End! The wood home and paneling makes you feel like you're in a big treehouse complete with a spiral staircase. The communal and main living and kitchen space is completely open with amazing windows and natural lighting with a big veranda off the space to relax. My room had an en-suite bathroom and the simple space was perfect - comfortable after a long day of scuba diving and sun. The owner was kind enough to show me some of the other spaces in the home and all the rooms and apartments I had a chance to see were so cute and the rooftop terrace, incredible! If you enjoy a home stay feel amongst nature, love a great patio or rooftop to read or journal, and don't mind a 15-minute walk in order to retreat from the noise of the West End nightlife, you'll really appreciate this spot. The owner, Barbara, is a long time resident of the island and so lovely and sweet to talk with. I loved her stories of moving to the island and seeing it evolve of the years, plus her vision for this house coming to reality!

We absolutely loved this place. It’s been years since we’ve been treated so much like family staying somewhere. Lots of options in rooms whether you need A/C or not. Fresh fruit with breakfast every morning plus the views from the rooftop balcony at sunset are priceless.

I stayed here for one night as a solo traveller, I booked last minute but Barbara was very helpful organising taxis for me from the airport and cooked a very nice breakfast in the morning along with coffee and orange juice. She is a very nice lady and was very accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Thank you Barbara!

A beautiful return stay in a beautiful room, with a beautiful view at the B-E-A-U-tiful home of Roatan Bed and Breakfast Apartments! This time my room was on the third floor and provided even grander, sweeping views of the ocean and jungle. I could sit and stare all day. The bathroom was super cool with a very large, custom-tiled bath and shower combo. Barbara, the owner, and host, is lovely and once again brought an extra dose of sunshine to this tropical paradise. She is a precious woman from Milan, Italy who has lived in Roatan for over 28 years! I highly recommend staying as long as possible in this one-of-a-kind beautiful jungle “gem!” (see what I did there? 😂)

I came to roatan to scuba dive, and I wanted quiet in the evening. Barbara and the bed and breakfast delivers. I have an upper room, very nice, clean and quiet. Internet, very good, I can make calls to the stated and have zero issues. They have air conditioning, but not a good idea if you dive. The house is high on the hill, a great breeze and nave not needed it at all. Much better breeze than down the hill in west end. You will read about the walk, I am 65 and healthy, it’s not a big deal. 7 minuted down and 10 minutes up. About a third of a mile with only 75 yards of real hill. If you are in reasonable shape-easy. It is rough the last 75 yards-the hill. Have a small flashlight for night walking. My room has great water pressure and hot water. I am in an upper room, can not speak of other rooms. It is clean. Bed a queen, comfortable with a nice mid sized tv with 40 Spanish and 20 us channels. Lots of Miami and New York channels. Barbara, the host. Very friendly and cares about the guest.
