Spacious Mountain Cabin in Gated Community

This tri-level home is perfect for your Blue Ridge getaway. Located in the Powder Horn community, approx. 20 min. from downtwon Boone and 10 min. from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Viewing deer and wild turkey is an everyday experience, and birdlovers occasionally see and often hear the rare piliated woodpecker. The large master bedroom is on the top floor with a queen-sized bed, full bath, and sliding glass doors leading to a deck. The loft has a couch, bumper pool and a twin bed with a trundle. The main floor offers a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a large den with games table, and sliding glass doors leading to the deck. There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, one bedroom with two twin beds, and a full bath. The ground floor has a ping pong table, one double bed, one twin bed, a full bath, and sliding glass doors to the ground floor deck. We provide wifi, direct t.v. on 2 floors as well as dvd and vcr players, movies, books, games and puzzles. The direct t.v. only sometimes works, despite our best efforts. We pay for the best service on the mountain, but we are still in the mountains, so our service is spotty. The Powder Horn community has hiking trails, an outdoor solar heated swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic area and a club house.
