Setting, perfect. Room, perfect. Hosts, perfect. Location, perfect. I wanted to experience autumn and fall foliage in a peaceful, restful and idyllic setting. I got what I hoped for..... and two great breakfasts as well. The Inn at Stony Creek helped restore me back to human. What a wonderful experience. Thank you!

We just got back from a four-night stay at The Inn at Stony Creek. We chose the inn due to its close proximity to a family wedding event at a nearby winery. The inn rooms were very clean and well appointed with antique decorations, and the included breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented with bacon, toast, and fruit. The omelets were simply out of this world! Fresh coffee and cookies were always available during the day and night. The owners, Bill and Joe, are so friendly and welcoming, and attended to any of our needs promptly and with a smile. If we ever return back to the Warwick area, we will definitely book The Inn at Stony Creek again!

I count my blessings every day, but this past weekend there were too many to count. The Inn at Stony Creek is a little piece of heaven. It was a rainy weekend, but we didn’t even mind it. Our room was so cozy, and the Inn and the grounds were just beautiful. I saved the best for last. Joe and Bill….so helpful, gracious, and kind. Okay, now I really saved the very best for last….” The bacon”…Bill told me that Joe puts it in the oven, but he didn’t tell me the secret ingredient. That’s okay, we will just have to come back!!!

I can't say enough about our experience at the Inn at Stony Creek. The photos on the website don't even do it justice. The hospitality is amazing, it began when Bill greeted us at the door. Our hosts were very attentive, from the recommendations for things to do and reservations for a sold-out restaurant to Joe's wonderful homemade cookies and delicious assortment of breakfast items. The inn is beautifully decorated with antiques, something to see every time you turn your head. Meticulously cared for and clean. Bill and Joe are very proud of their home and were happy to show us around. The grounds are beautiful as well. We enjoyed chatting and sharing stories, looking forward to returning for a visit at Christmas.

The inn at Stony Creek is a hidden gem nestled in the town of Warwick, NY. The inn is a short trip from NYC and the surrounding areas, making it the perfect weekend or midweek getaway. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Bill & Joe, the inn keepers. Right away we felt at home! Bill and Joe gave us a tour of the inn and took the time to get to know us and what we wanted to do during our stay. They had great suggestions for how to spend the afternoons and restaurants to visit. The inn was tastefully decorated, clean, and beautifully kept. We stayed in the Mt Adam room which was a suite with a private entrance and patio. The suite had a nice sitting area and plenty of room to spread out. The outdoor patio was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon appetizers. The inn has a wrap around porch which we enjoyed for reading a book, relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. The lemon blueberry pancakes with homemade lemon curd was my favorite! Warwick is a charming town where we spent hours sipping coffee in a local shop and walking about, in and out of shops. Our favorite dinner spots, recommended by Bill & Joe, were Grappa and the Landmark Inn. The food and drink were amazing at both! These spots shouldn't be missed. We really enjoyed our mini vacation to Warwick and the inn and can't wait to visit again!

An absolutely wonderful experience. Innkeepers Bill and Joe are charming and extremely attentive to their guests. The property is a beautifully restored 1840's home, filled with period antiques, along with 10 acres of serene rural countryside. We stayed in the Appalachian Room which has an ensuite private bathroom including Jacuzzi bathtub for two, and a separate shower. It also has its own separate entrance from the outside, along with an outdoor sitting area. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, complete with creek and waterfall, pond (for the resident ducks and geese) and a hay meadow . You can sit back and just lose yourself in the view, the smell of the countryside, and the songs of the various types of birds that nest nearby. Breakfast in the dining room is a delight - I had a mushroom and cheddar omelet (made with fresh eggs collected from the resident chickens); my wife has avocado toast with egg. Both were delicious and topped off by fresh melon and berries as "dessert". We will definitely come back when we are in this area. mdhlaw, New York, NY
