Despite the name of the hotel, there is no beach. Apparently it was washed away in a storm, despite the website photos depicting a beach. Apart from this the hotel was very good. Food good and the staff were excellent. Not much around the area. Can recommend the boat safari.

Had a wonderfull stay at tangerine beach hotel.lovely staff specially the gro's and reception team.i would visit this place again just for the hospitality.

The Tangerine beach hotel is a very nice hotel at the end of our trip through Sri Lanka. Good beds and airconditioning. Wonderful view. Many facilities are available at the hotel. Very friendly staff and flexible check out. Great buffet for dinner and breakfast.

Beautiful hotel and staff. I recommend the excellent cuisine. Very friendly staff, especially maids. If you want peace and quiet and picky servic I recommend this hotel.

lots of fun activities like swimming,table tennis and more. the staff are really nice and helpful , the food is excellent.the rooms couldn’t be better with really good Wi-Fi .this is my favourite hotel to go to in Sri Lanka. if you haven’t already been you definitely should go.

It was okay. We booked half board and spent the night. We didn’t receive a welcome drink but a few other guests did. The buffet / dining area was too crowded. Food was okay but limited veggie options for dinner (apart from the salad bar). If you’re going here for the spa, don’t. Although the staff is very friendly the spa is understaffed and they cannot accommodate 2 people at the same time. We went there is year because it’s a place we’ve been several years ago and we loved it. However, it’s not the same. It’s not the hotels fault that they have lost direct access to the beach but the stay isn’t really worth it without direct access to the beach. They have a small beach area outside of the hotel that you can walk within 2-3 mins. The rooms and bathrooms were nice but the room floors could be cleaner. If the small issues are fixed, the stay would be worth the price.

The stuff is sooo freindly the spa is excellent and very good price I recommend this hotel the food is good also the view from hotel is awosome thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks alot

Excellent experience. The place is great and the hospitality is awesome. Will recommend the hotel for everyone who is looking to spend a quality break The food variety is awesome and the staff are very helpful. Will for sure repeat the experience soon.
