My family and I were VERY excited to stay at this hotel in August. I spent a lot of time researching places on the island and this seemed the perfect fit for my family. Unfortunately, the night before we arrived, I received a strange message from the website I booked it through offering me alternative places to stay. I asked the property what had happened and they told me that 'some rooms' had been damaged. When I called customer service, I was told that sometimes 'hotels overbook' so I don't know what the actual story was but I have never had a booking cancelled the day before like this! WHile on the island (in a lesser hotel!) I saw this hotel's vehicle out and about with hotel guests in it, so they were clearly still in operation. In short, be careful when booking with this property, especially in high season on an island where there is such limited availability in general.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which is beautifully situated in the middle of the island, offering breathtaking views of both the volcano and the sea. The location and scenery are undoubtedly its strongest points. However, the overall experience did not live up to the hotel's 4-star rating. The room we were given was not properly cleaned, and although I had explicitly booked for three people, there was no linen provided for my child's bed. This forced my child to sleep with me in the main bed, which was not what I expected. Additionally, there was no cover for the mattress—a basic necessity that should be standard in any hotel, let alone a 4-star one. Our experience at the restaurant was disappointing as well. The food was mediocre, with the fish clearly being frozen, which is especially unacceptable given the island setting. We had booked dinner during midsummer, and a kids' menu was promised at the time of reservation. Yet, nothing was prepared for our child, and the staff had to scramble to arrange something at the last minute. We didn't receive our first dish until around 10 PM, by which time our 2-year-old had already fallen asleep. The staff was generally okay, but the service at the restaurant left much to be desired. The waitress who served us was not particularly friendly, which added to the overall sense of disappointment. In summary, while the hotel's location and views are stunning, the service and attention to detail were lacking. The stay did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel, and I cannot recommend it based on our experience.

We were really looking forward to our stay here as the photos on the internet looked extremely promising. We expected a calm, cozy oasis with nicely designed, clean rooms. Reality hit very hard - it was a complete disaster; we left after 1 day.

Ottima esperienza. Belle camere, utilizzo di materiali naturali per l’arredo. Giardino mediterraneo curatissimo. Personale disponibile. Non ho utilizzato la piscina anche se ampia, perché per me è inconcepibile non tuffarsi nel mare. Il cibo è di un livello superiore, consiglio di accelerare sui tempi del servizio e un maggiore assortimento sui vini. Bella vacanza! Grazie a tutto lo staff!

Siamo stati in questo hotel per il ponte del 2 giugno. Le camere sono semplici ma confortevoli ,il personale accogliente,i giardini curati,la colazione buona e la vista sul mare dalla terrazza ristorante è strepitosa.Peccato che il tutto sia stato rovinato dalla maleducazione e l inciviltà di altre persone in vacanza come noi. Capisco che la struttura si è ritrovata in overbooking (da quello che mi è sembrato di sentire) ma sicuramente questo non giustifica il comportamento barbaro dei clienti. Urla e schiamazzi in piscina,al ricevimento,alla colazione e con il personale che,a parer mio cercava semplicemente di fare il loro lavoro con gentilezza e professionalità. Io e la mia compagna vorremmo riuscire a ritagliarci un altro weekend a luglio con la speranza che cambi la clientela. Una nota di merito alle ragazze delle camere (Liam mi sembra di ricordare) e a Bianca del ristorante.

Il posto è sempre meraviglioso e ci ritornerò con piacere. Spero di trovare però servizi più adeguati all incantevole particolarità del resort. Ritengo, comunque, che i disservizi riscontrati siano in linea con l ‘atmosfera di tutta l isola che ho trovato stranamente impreparata, benché fosse già il primo di giugno…(pizzerie nel panico, ristoratori in tilt, baristi impreparati e commercianti nervosi)…pertanto tornerò a luglio e spero di trovare un po’ di tutto di più sia ai mari del sud che nell’ isola tutta…
