호텔 티롤러호프(Hotel Tirolerhof 4 Sterne Superior)

Hotel Tirolerhof is well located in Tux, with access to the ski areas of Hintertux Glacier, Tux and Mayrhofen. We were staying in the Adlerhorst suite, which was spacious, with a shower, bath tub and mountain view. The breakfast is great, with an egg station, fresh juice, pancakes and waffles, etc. The outdoor adult only pool, which is more a jacuzzi, is lovely. The gym is well equipped. Dinner in the evening was always delicious, always with a vegetarian option. You could also tell that no food got wasted. But... Our room was located near the central stairs, where it was really noisy, even at night. While the room was renovated, there was no noise insulation. When asking for another room because of the noise, the receptionist, who wasn’t friendly from the start, just told us “that they don’t have quiet rooms”. In general, the staff was unfriendly and only near the end of our stay did they start becoming more easygoing. It’s weird that you as guest have to please the staff, instead of the other way around. The bed was quite hard and the pillows could be better too. There was no water kettle or coffee machine in the room. There was also no airconditioning in the entire hotel. It was hot when we arrived and it stayed hot. I can’t recommend this hotel in summer! Food wise, dinner for adults is great, but the children menu was always limited to spaghetti bolognaise / spaghetti with tomato sauce / something fried with French fries. As if children don’t deserve decent food. A liter of water cost 5 euros, even though we’re pretty sure it was just tab water. The coffee in general was below standards. At breakfast, the coffee was brewed by a full automatic coffee machine which you find in any reasonably priced hotel. But Tirolerhof isn’t a reasonable priced hotel! In the afternoon, it was possible to order a cappuccino, but this was also overpriced and not well served. In general, we often wondered why this hotel was rated “four star superior”. Sure the rooms, especially in the new section, are spacious and beautiful. But the unfriendly staff, the lack of air conditioning, the lack of a coffee machine, the overpriced water and the poor children’s menu made us wonder if we would book this hotel again.

I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights with my wife and daughter. The hotel has WIFI but no Internet connection, I was unable to read emails and browse news websites etc. You can forget about streaming I had to use my mobile hot spot but with difficulty due to poor signal in the room we stayed in (I had to put my mobile phone on the balcony to get a bit of stable connection) An unhelpful receptionist advised that the hotel is fully booked and poor wifi is due to children streaming Netflix. Unfortunately, that was the end of it so we had no internet connection as standard for rest of the stay. Therefore, I would advise to check with the reception about the Internet connection before proceeding with booking if you really need the internet as the hotel might have rooms with good internet connection in a newer part of the hotel. The staff in the restaurant area was not always helpful at times due to lack of language proficiency and likely general hotel culture I would say. On the positive note the room had a proper bed for my daughter. It is not a standard for this prize in the Tux / Hintertux area. Normally one gets a sofa bed for a child in other hotels which can be hard and far less comfortable. - Another positive was a dinner with fish & sea food theme on one of the evenings. It was a very good supper made of high quality products. - it needs to be mentioned that the Hotel itself is nice, the room was decent size and tidy - there is also a decent gym area which is reasonably equipped & a nice swimming pool We benchmark our bellow average experience against four previous stays in different hotels in Tux area however these previous stays were during off-peak holiday periods whereas the stay in Tirolerhof was during a festival peak period which could have skewed our impression unfairly against the hotel simply because the staff in the restaurant was busy and the receptionist might have been bothered by the guests rather frequently In Summary & In my opinion it is a decent hotel which is best visited in off-peak periods because of poor wifi and less efficient restaurant & reception staff. If you really need reliable internet connection I would advise to speak to receptionist to request a room which have a decent wifi. Regards

Great hotel with rooftop adults only area. Warm colours, cozy a**osphere, modern lifestyle but still authentic place. Good food, best quality and really nice family. Gym and spa is outstanding, a lot offers & program for free and for everybody. Will definitely come back.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Wir waren zum Ski fahren dort. Wir hatten im Neubau ein sehr schönes und liebevoll durchgestyltes Zimmer. Die persönliche Ansprache in dem Hotel muss man hervor heben. Trotz vollem und ausgebuchtem Haus, hatte man immer das Gefühl persönlich als Gast gesehen zu werden. Das Personal mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Inhaber strahlten, wie auch das Personal ein wahnsinnige Herzlichkeit aus. So macht Urlaub Spaß. Neben den wunderschönen Zimmer mit super bequemen Betten, muss man die hervorragende Moderne und exzellente Küche hervorzuheben. Abwechslungsreiche Gerichte, gesund und modern Interpretiert. Frühstück und Jause immer sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Der Wellnessbereich und das große beheizte Schwimmbad sind auch gelungen und runden einen schönen Skitag ab. Viele Worte für eine gelungene Woche. Wir sagen Danke und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wegen der guten Sportbusanbindung haben wir u.a. den Tirolerhof ausgewählt. Die Juniorsuite Alpin ist sehr wohnlich gestaltet. Aus den Nachbarzimmern haben wir kaum Geräusche vernommen. Unser Zimmer lag nach hinten raus. Wegen der Aussicht würden wir beim nächsten Mal stattdessen den seitlichen Blick in das Tal bevorzugen. Unseren Wagen konnten wir in der Tiefgarage unterbringen und für die Skiausrüstung stehen eigene Schränke im modernen Skikeller zur Verfügung. Das Essen war gut. Am Abend konnten wir z. B. aus 4 Hauptgängen wählen. Vielen Dank noch an das gesamte Hotelteam. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, ist das Verhalten anderer Hotelgäste in der Sauna. Von z. B. 7 Doppelliegen waren 6 besetzt, ohne das ein Mensch über ca. 30 Minuten zu sehen war?! Im Ruheraum wurde telefoniert oder auch mal im Familienkreis länger geplaudert. So extrem haben wir das noch nicht erlebt. Diese Kritik gilt den Menschen, die sich entsprechend egoistisch verhalten!

Harmonisch gestaltetes Hotel mit modernem und dennoch warmem Charakter. Wir waren im Neubau untergebracht. Zimmer dort sind sehr schön, groß und sauber. Sehr schöner neuer Wellnessbereich mit Sky-Sauna. Leider bei voller Ausbuchung mit zu wenigen Ruhemöglichkeiten. Liegen würden teilweise mit Handtüchern dauerbelegt. Das Abendessen (Wahlmenü) ist vor allem optisch ein Highlight und lecker. Für den Preis allerdings wird man an anderen Orten satter. Gutes Frühstück, doch sind die Wege je nachdem welchen Tisch man am ersten Tag zugewiesen bekommt weit zum Buffet. Die Besitzer und das Personal geben sich sehr Mühe alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Schönes Hotel mit herzlichem und sehr nettem Empfang, Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber, Fenster sind gut schallisoliert, sodass es nichts ausmacht das Zimmer zur Straße raus zu haben. Angebotenes Menü sehr ausgewogen und lecker.

Großartiges Hotel, tolles Essen, super nettes Personal. Der neue Pool mit dem Blick auf die Berge ein Traum. Absolut eine Empfehlung. Der Bus hält vor der Haustüre - man kann getrost auf das Auto verzichten, da alle Bergbahnen und der Gletscher super zu erreichen sind.

Die Zimmer sind, wie das gesamte Hotel, sehr gut ausgestattet und modern eingerichtet. Das Essen ist super lecker und das Personal extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend! Der Seminarraum ist Top und sehr gut ausgestattet!
