Hostel d'Avenida

We booked a 3 bed room. The beds were damp and the room very cold. The room was too small to put our luggage and us in. The kitchen had no equipment to cook with. The facilities were filthy. It was the worst place we’ve stayed at on the Camino and expensive.

I got there with a reservation previously made and confirmed on Booking. They told me to go to the cafe next to it and to talk to a certain person. I asked for that person, and nobody could answer me who that person was. I then insisted and told them I wanted to check-in in the hostel, so they finally told me to wait 15 minutes. I had to wait 1 hour instead, the lady from the hostel asked me if I had a reservation (this coming from the person who I've talked before by phone...), I told her yes I had, and she insisted that it was not possible. So I've just shown her the reservation on my mobile. She asked me to wait a bit more, and with this I had to wait almost 1 more hour. When she came back to me, she told me to go to the hostel with her, we got there, and she told me they were fully booked and I had to stay sleeping in the couch of the reception (image #2 of the slides), where they start working early and of course I would never stay sleeping in the couch of an hostel reception with everybody coming in and out, so what else can I say?... Worst hostel experience of my life. This place doesn't deserve to actually exist. They are liars, manipulators and thieves. Absolutely horrible experience., a definitely NOT TO GO place.

No sé si es un caso puntual, pero fue mi peor experiencia, al llegar tarde en la noche las camas asignadas estaban ocupadas, no fue posible contactar con nadie, por lo que nos tocó compartir la única cama libre que quedaba. Eso sí, no te podías mover, si no querías despertar a las personas que dormían allí, del ruido que hacía, parecía que en cualquier momento quedaríamos en el piso. Un desastre la verdad.
