Lodge masked as a hotel. Much better options for lesser price. Unclean toilets. Useless shower. Food was bland. When I was ready to checkin the place was empty. One car in basement. I was suspecting quality. My hunch was right. Ratings on Google were misleading

A Disappointing Stay at Hotel Kyriad, Vijayapur, Karnataka state Recently ( 09/07/2024) booked a four-night stay at Hotel Kyriad in Vijayapur, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The decision to cut short my stay after just one night was due to the appalling conditions of the hotel. The rooms were in a deplorable state. Unwashed bedsheets, accumulated dust, and old, uncomfortable pillows made for an extremely unpleasant sleeping experience. The bathrooms were similarly unclean and inconvenient to use. The quality of food served was equally disappointing, adding to the overall negative impression of the hotel. The hotel's exterior was equally uninviting, with a dirty parking area and a lacklustre entrance lobby. The surrounding ambiance did little to enhance the overall experience. It's baffling how this establishment claims a four-star rating when it clearly falls short of even a three-star standard. The only positive aspect of my stay was the helpful and courteous demeanour of the receptionist, Basavaraj. His professionalism was a stark contrast to the rest of the hotel's shortcomings. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider their choice of accommodation and explore other options available in Vijayapura.

Stayed there for a night while returning to Bangalore. Located in the main road, near Kamat Hotel and close to Gol Gumbaz. Hotel is small, unlike the pictures posted. Had booked a triple occupancy room, we were given a small room with a queen bed and an extra bed (floor). Costly for the size of the room. The beds occupied 90% of the room. Bath and Toilet were clean. Room clean as well. Restaurant was okay, no room service. When I enquired in the restaurant, the waiter said the staff were busy and no one was free to take food to the room. When I turned around, the whole restaurant was empty and the same waiter was watching videos on his phone. Checkin and check out was smooth. Buffet breakfast was not so convincing. Hotel just okay for single travellers on business.

The Worst of experience that guests can have. The most rude reception staff with intentions to make money by asking us to upgrade my room and when we denied they gave us the worst room with all amenities in bad shape.Avoid this hotel if you are not in urgent need

After a long drive from Pune I received a warm welcome by Nandini KAkkalameli at the reception. She has been very kind and helpful with big smile during my stay . It is very important to have someone on front desk to welcome you with big smile on arrival. So big thank you.

It's a small and cosy hotel on a main road. Parking is limited though they have underground parking. Room(suite, 3rd floor) was beautiful and clean with big bed room and living room; the latter had plush, comfortable sofas. Bright lighting and efficient fan and ac. Service a tad slow but humble. No view as it's a roadside hotel, you can see the road below from the front rooms. I learnt no room had a minibar which is very surprising. Extra bed provided was a bed on the floor, most hotels of the same category, let alone the higher ones, offer cots with beds. Sound insulation is poor, vehicular noise was clearly heard, and often loud. The hotel has to check some of its fixtures as we had a serious issue with the bathroom shower knob. There were adequate toiletries though. And, finally, the breakfast was a damp-squib both in terms of spread and taste. Better go for "room only" package and visit restaurants around the hotel like the famous "Kamat". Ofcourse, the staff is excellent like the elderly security person who carried our heavy luggage to our room since there were no staff members to carry out the task when we arrived. Prashant from housekeeping also is good: four stars for them. Kyriad properties of Gulbarga and Solapur seems to be better off than the one in Vijayapura.
