L’hotel, ****, all’esterno si presenta bene, il garage, importante per noi che viaggiamo in moto, e’ a pochi passi. Sbrigate le formalità alla reception ci viene data la tessera per l’apertura della porta della camera. La camera si presenta pulita e con l’aria condizionata accesa. Il bagno è perfettamente pulito e sono presenti shampoo e gel bagno oltre ad altre necessaire. Manca nel bagno lo scopino per pulire il water. L’hotel non dispone di sala ristorante ma di sala colazione che al mattino si è rivelata ottima ed abbondante. Per la mancanza dello scopino, ci ha spiegato Laura in perfetto italiano, con il Covid sono stati eliminati. L’esperienza comunque è stata positiva e nel caso dovessi tornare in quella zona, tornerei senz’altro al Vic Up Room.

This is a lovely old Covent that is now a boutique hotel. The location is convenient as well as beautiful. . Breakfast is excellent, the dining room is lovely with a beautiful Courtyard to eat outside as well. All the common areas are very comfortable and interesting. Staff was delightful. We were in room 131, it is rather small, with an awkward setup that did not allow easy access to the small shelf that served as a night stand due to the elaborate headboard, so I had to use the small chair as a night stand. Bathroom also very small with no countertop or shelves or hooks for anything. But we made it work for the 3 nights we stayed. The small balcony allowed for fresh air as the room had the heat on even though it was very warm outside. The air conditioning had already been turned off centrally. I must also mention that I believe there may be mold in room 131. The entire time I was inside the room I had an allergic reaction. I was fine in all the public spaces as well as outside, so I came to the conclusion it must have been mold somewhere in the room. Hopefully that will be resolved as we definitely would love to stay next year when we return to Vic.

Teníamos hora de llegada a las 10... pues bien hasta las 15.00 no nos dejaban entrar. Las maletas sí las dejamos en consigna. La recepcionista que nos atendió fue correcta pero para nada agradable , sin embargo el recepcionista (hombre) sí fue agradable. Las habitaciones estaban bien pero con algunos detalles que mejorar: la cisterna cargaba agua toda la noche y cuando le dabas ... no funcionaba. También la puerta del baño se nos quedó atascada y tuvimos que llamar para que nos la abrieran con una ganzúa. Para terminar, al hacer el check out nos dicen que nos cobran un impuesto de tasas turísticas, lo que asciende a casi 2 € por habitación, cosa que no nos habían informado en ningún momento de ello. Está claro que no repetiremos en ese hotel.

He estado un par de días en este hotel y me ha encantado. La reseña es sobre el restaurante. El hotel y el restaurante es de Nandu Jubany, muy conocido en Catalunya y pronto en todos sitio. Para mi, éste es el primer reataurante de Jubany al que he ido y espero que no sea el último. He visto que hay un menú degustación por 50€ que son 2 entrantes y 2 postres. A nosotros nos pusieron varios platos, a cual más bueno. Por suerte las raciones ni eran grandes y pude llegar a probarlo todo. En este restaurante se toman el servicio al cliente muy en serio. Por ejemplo, el primer plato era un bastoncillo hueco con jamón de pato. Mi compañera comentó que no comía pato y no dudaron en traerle uno con jamón. Una tostadita con foie espectacular, guisantes dulces, arroz con espardenyes, pescado y carne. Y para rematar, los postres.. había un helado con peta-zeta (nombre boomer), que me cautivó. Yo no tomo.vino pero sirvieron uno que encantó a la gente. No puedo hablar del precio porque me invitaron pero desde luego, la calidad y el servicio de este restaurante, es de un 10.

Beautiful view over the Sau valley with the stunning lake, helpful and friendly staff, we have eaten in the restaurant in the past but chose to eat in the bar this time as we had eaten at lunch time, but both serve good food. This is our 3rd visit and we would go again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Montanyà hotel, the location is perfect, very calm, amazing view on the mountains. The bedroom was nice and cosy, we liked the decoration of the hotel. There is a huge park, with the outside pool and also an inside pool with warm water, so relaxing. The restaurant is great, the food was varied and delicious. All the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We totally recommend Montanyà hotel y lodge.
