Motorcycle visit This is the 4th stay at the hotel, and I still haven’t found anything negative to say about the hotel. The condition, facilities and bar and food prices are excellent. The service is always with a smile. I can’t wait to return. The underground parking is fabulous and is free of charge.

The owner and his wife were incredibly rude It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I was on a coach trip with Woods travel and we were delayed arriving there. Our food was slammed down in front of us and if we didn’t like it was taken away with no replacement. I was dismayed how rude they were. One lady at our table complained her pork was red in the middle and was gruffly told it was “rose” pork! The plate was then snatched away. If you went to the bar for a drink you were greeted with a YES. The three course meal was very slow and took nearly 2 and half hours altogether with very poor service. However our room was very comfortable and clean.

Hotel is easy to find on the main road of Vianden. Check in area is small and more than two people in the area makes it very crowded. Check in was quick with payment made before getting the key. Room was clean with tv and a fan. Kettle available also a small fridge and a safe. Beds were soft memory foam. Sheets were nylon/ stretchy type. Both of the above in a heat wave are not a good combination. Sheets felt hot and itchy when laid upon. Fan did not offer much cooling. This is the main reason for giving 2 stars. With the money paid to stay over the least you expect are good quality cotton bedding. Bar and food area seemed a little chaotic with people waiting for food/drinks. The main reason I would not stay here again is due to the bedding. Hopefully the hotel will read this and address the issue.

Beautiful hotel, a little dated compared to others we've stayed in, but the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and location were perfect. We had a room on 4th floor with a superb view of the castle. Bed was super comfy, room had everythibg we needed. We used the pool which was also spotless and much larger than expected. The food was great, and the service was amazing. If we ever get back to Vianden we will not hesitate in rebooking this perfect gem. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely, quiet hotel and good breakfast Great place for a stay in Vianden, nice and quiet. Good breakfast and easy parking just beside the hotel.
