아침 7시에 호텔을 출발해서 8시부터 호텔 조식이 시작되었는데 전날 밤에 프런트 직원에게 아침식사 시간에 맞춰 도착하지 못했다고 문의했더니 신사분이 그렇다고 하더군요. 우리를 위해 준비할 거예요. 다음 날 우리는 각자 요거트, 주스, 비스킷, 케이크, 과일이 포함된 큰 봉지의 아침 식사를 받았는데, 너무 많아서 다 먹을 수가 없었고, 못 먹은 것은 버려야 했습니다. 보안 검색대에 들어가지 않아서 안타깝습니다.

Starting with a private boat ride to the hotel is a great way to get there. The location is close to the iconic rialto bridge. When you get in you get a quick explanation of the history and background of the building and it's (former) owners. It has limited number of rooms that are fully equipped and modern by every standard, super quiet airco/heater, high end tv with apple tv, free bar in room, etc. All of which you would expect for the price tag. The location is perfect and if you don't know it and want to reach it by walking, good luck in finding the entrance! Unfortunately the wellness was closed due to Covid. The staff is very helpful and attentive in general. The breakfast was great, you ask what you want and they serve it. The view from the breakfast room was amazing, the chairs for a 5 foot 6 inch (197 cm) are a little challenge, it is like sitting in an old 911! We tried to get lunch and after an initial glitch were able to get the dinner menu. We also tried dinner and were taking the recommendation of the chef, which was the only point we weren't impressed about. Overall i have to say it is worth a short stay to explore the town, and also enjoy this magical place!

We have just come back from a wonderful stay in this hotel., for the carnival. The hotel is in a great location. Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was pleasant, and in keeping with 4 star hotel. The room had a lovely private balcony, Slightly concerned about the duck tape in the shower, which I assume was to sop any leaking water. The breakfast was really nice, and the lovely staff, especially one in particular, remembered what we had to drink from the previous day..a very nice surprise. THE HOTEL, HAS SUCH HISTORY, SUCH ELEGANCE IN THE BALLROOM..EVERY LAMP, IS MADE FROM MIRANO GLASS, A TOUCH OF SPLENDOUR. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

We arrived at midnight not knowing what to expect and were greeted by Ricardo as soon as we entered the lobby. He was so happy to greet us. It was as if we were old friends. As we entered the room we noticed how clean it was. it was not a large room but very well appointed. Very quiet location just a block away from the noisy tourist areas. When morning came we were delighted to meet the owner Giacomo who you could tell made it has mission to make sure all his guests were treated like family. Breakfast was incredible with gluten free and vegetarian options.Aracelli our waitress was great. We stayed two nights and will definatley return. Best value in all of Venice.

We spent a night here on 9-10th Aug 2023 room # 213. We arrived at 11 AM. Left our baggage here and came back again at 14.00 for check in. Our room extremely quiet day and night as we requested for a quiet room away from lifts. It's only 5 minute walk from bus/train station, 15 minute walk to Rialto Bridge, 30 minute walk to Saint Mark's Square in San Marco. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. It's also safe to walk around at night amd early morning even it's pretty dark. 24 hour Reception tho. All staff were friendly, attentive and polite. Room was a bit dated but tidy and clean. Good space for a couple. Everything in our room worked well. No complimentary bottled water, toothbrush, toothpaste so pls bring your own. I bought drinks, snacks and some stuff from Despar supermarket near train station with reasonably priced. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Venice. Highly recommended ☺️

The Santa Croce Boutique Hotel was a great find for my husband and I. First, it was in a quiet neighborhood where locals live, with cafes, grocery stores, shops, town squares and side canals. The train station and Piaza Roma are just a few blocks away where you can easily catch the water taxis, gondolas, etc. We loved returning to the hotel after a busy day being tourists and enjoying a cocktail in the beautiful courtyard and then meandering around to a local cafe for dinner. Secondly, it is a beautiful hotel with comfortable and beautiful rooms. The decor added to our feeling of being in a special city such as Venice. Every single staff person was kind, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone! The breakfast buffet was extensive with eggs cooked to order, lots of fresh fruits, breads, etc. And the coffee was near perfect! Venice is a busy city filled with tourists, so staying away from all the hustle and bustle is a good idea! Just hop on the #1 water taxi and enjoy the ride to,wherever you may need to go.

an excellent hotel with excellent service. We had 5 rooms reserved at the hotel. We left the hotel to go to Ravenna via the trains. We left our Apple air pods in of one the rooms. The gentleman from the front desk (morning shift - sorry I don’t remember his name) on his own walked over the train station, tracked us down and surprised us to give us the air pods. I travel a lot and have never seen such exceptional service. Literally, because of his level of exceptional service from when we checked in to now, we decided to change our hotels (when we return from the cruise) to stay again at The Carlton because of his above and beyond attitude. Thank you for your hospitality and outstanding experience from the point of when we first checked in.

El peor hotel (por llamarle algo) en el que he estado con mucha diferencia. Lo único positivo es la ubicación. Lógicamente, por ese precio, no nos esperábamos grandes lujos, simplemente un sitio cómodo donde dormir. Lo que desde luego no nos esperábamos es el nefasto trato del personal y el inexistente servicio de habitaciones. En primer lugar y tan pronto llegamos, la habitación no estaba preparada, por lo tanto, tuvimos que ir a dar una vuelta por la ciudad hasta que estuviera lista. En segundo lugar, el gerente/trabajador del hotel, nos exigió el pago de unas tasas no mencionadas en ningún momento en la reserva, la cuál ya indicaba que el precio era con tasas incluidas. 48 euros. Preguntamos sobre la naturaleza de esas tasas, y no nos supo responder absolutamente nada, de hecho, reaccionó de una forma muy maleducada y agresiva. A pesar de no podernos aclarar el motivo de tener que pagar esas tasas , nos dispusimos a pagar, pero su TPV/DATÁFONO, debía de ser de decoración, ya que con ninguna de las 4 tarjetas con las que probamos funcionó. Le dijimos que no teníamos efectivo para pagarle a lo que reaccionó todavía peor, la situación se puso desagradable y terminó diciendo que le pagarámos en otro momento de la estancia. Pasamos a las habitaciones, la habitación en si, no estaba mal, sencilla, sin grandes lujos, pero lo que esperábamos por el precio. El baño era compartido, lo cuál ya sabíamos, pero había un solo baño para una planta de 4 habitaciones grupales, con lo cuál tenías que esperar bastante tiempo para poder usar el baño ya que siempre estaba ocupado. Pero bueno, sin más importancia. La calefacción no funcionaba, por lo que pasamos bastante frío por las noches, el servicio de habitaciones inexistente, no llegaron a cambiar ni las toallas. Lo unico que hicieron fue vaciar la papelera. Finalmente, decidimos que no ibamos a pagar las tasas a no ser que nos demostrara con algún documento oficial o bien del ayuntamiento que esas tasas son requeridas obligatoriamente. Sobre todo, después de la incómoda estancia, la cuál era aún más incómoda, pues este señor, se dedicó varias veces a petar en nuestra puerta mientras estábamos descansando para venir a reclamar el dinero. El último día, le dejamos las llaves y le inforamos que no estábamos dispuestas a pagar lo que nos pedía sin ninguna justificación y sin saber para qué teníamos que pagar esos 48 euros. Siguió sin darnos ninguna justificación, se puso cada vez más agresivo, grtando y señalando con el dedo. Lo más subrealista e indignante llegó, cuándo el susodicho dijo que iba a llamar a la policía, a lo que le respondí que encantada, así la policiía me podría verificar si esas tasas son legales. Llamó a alguien por teléfono y me pasó el móvil para que hablara con esa persona. La persona en cuestión decía ser una autoridad del hotel, le dije que lógicamente no me podía fiar de una persona al otro lado del teléfono que podría ser cualquiera, que si realmente era la policia por favor, se pe
