안티코 포르테고(Antico Portego)

We stayed for 2 nights in Anna’s house en route to get a cruise from Trieste. From the time we booked the communication was great with clear instructions on how to find and access the property. We arrived early at 11am, and as our room was ready Anna was happy for us to check in. We stayed in Stelle which was beautiful and clean. The room is large enough for 3 even with the sofa bed out. The WiFi was very good and little touches like the cakes and tea were appreciated. Great location for good value bars and ciccheti! Stored our bags on check out day also. We will definitely return!

The location is great in the heart of Venice, walkable distance for many shops, restaurants, cafes and main attractions. The bed was hard for our taste, and could not rest that well, but bed and pillows are personal choices.

Staying here made visiting Venice great. Super easy access to many locations and great food. The staff was great, Anna was very helpful. Everything was in great condition.

Great place we really enjoy the hotel great peoples, defenetly I like to come back , and let everyone know I beautiful was our room and the hotel very cozy .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We had an amazing stay at Antico Portego! We were promptly met by Anna and she showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know about the property and the facilities available to us. She was on-hand to answer any questions quickly and provided us with a few bits that we hadn’t thought to bring (like a bottle opener!). Anna made sure that we felt welcome and was always ready to tell us more about places to see or the property. Our kids loved having a chat with her too and she patiently answered all questions a 5&8 year old had! She’s a real credit to the establishment! The property was located in a busy area, but once you stepped inside, you were met with a calm atmosphere and felt miles away from the hustle of Venice. Nice restaurants near by and walking distance to all the must-see places. Would definitely book here again.

The room was excellent value for a family of 4 in Venice. Air conditioning gave welcome respite from the heat in summer. Spotlessly clean, with cold water in a fridge and some basic but very welcome breakfast snacks provided in the room. Anna was quick to respond to any questions and happy to let us leave our bags safely for the day after checking out. Happy to recommend and would use again if in Venice for a short stay.

Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay. The decoration, rooms and building are beautiful, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Excellent location in a lively area with plenty of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Great B&B to stay in on our short vacation (3 nights) in Venice. 3 minutes walk to the Central Canal, lots of places to eat close by. Breakfast was continental and provided a good start to the day Host was fantastic and really helpful Passes the stay again test
