다이오스 코브(Daios Cove)

We arrived at the hotel for five days, we bought a full board plan, the hotel is amazing in its beauty, the service is lovely, especially Nikos the manager, the food is excellent! The hotel is very clean, the pools are beautiful, the towels are clean. But I make a note that it cost us a lot of money. When we arrived, no one explained how the accommodation works. Unfortunately we had to ask every time and it ended up costing us a lot of money, hundreds of euros besides the high hotel costs. The program they sell is not explained and you only find out at the end that they charged you more money and that many other things are not included. I recommend the hotel to change the policy and be open with the customers, many staff members shared that this is the regular complaint of the customers. Hope things will be better next time.

As I sit here not even arrived a Daios cove I am reveiwing the service to date. We booked a family holiday in January this year first holiday in nearly 2 years. We have 4 year old and a less 22 month old. We have paid for our holiday in full,(over a month ago) and we are scheduled to leave tomorrow morning at 5am! I received an email 2 hours ago saying they cannot provide us with our Villa due to 'over booking' they have offered us a ridiculous alternative which is completely unacceptable....I will keep you posted - but at the moment...this resort has not got off to a good start!!!!!!!

I went to Daios Cove with my Husband in September, thinking it was one of the best hotels in Crete. We actually spent the first week in another Hotel, then we moved to this one the second week. When we arrived we were chocked and disappointed by everything: The staff attitude was very arrogant and unfriendly The hotel is set-up in a small beach sourounded by a mountain, which required the guest to take a mini car every time they want to go to their room or down to the restaurants and beach etc. So no way to walk around. In fact we booked a villa which was up in the hill and We had the feeling every move to the restaurant, beach swimming pool was a little expedition. The beach and the swimming pool area are very small and the sun beds too close to each other- just horrible. The beach and water very nice though. Same thing in the restaurant, very packed and feeling you are very close to the other guests. The hotel is very recent and modern but the decoration is extremely cold and the atmosphere felt like we were traveling for business in a big chain hotel. The pool in our villa was cold and we had to request 48h in advance to have it heated and pay for 79euros per day. We called to get it heated as soon as we arrived, they told us someone would come the day after, but nobody came. And to finish, it was extremely windy , so we gave up on staying outside the room. We heard that the location is often very windy, especially when you are in the villas. Eventually we felt so bad in this place, that after one night and one day at the hotel we decided to leave. We paid 3700euros for 4 nights, and they reimbursed us one night, equivalent of 800euros daring to tell us it was a commercial gesture... Just avoid this hotel, there many others much nicer in Crete, especially if you can afford staying there , you should go to a place offering a much better service and a real luxury feeling.

I never spent so bad value for money vacation. It is takes very long to get from one place to other. Despite the very expensive prices the service is below the average. For those that looking for luxury vacation this is not your place !

Had a blast first few days, and my partner had a wonderful time for her bday. The staff are incredibly friendly and it was sad to say goodbye. After talking with other residents, I made a list of 10 minor improvements that would really take it to the next level. 1 Provide an Amazon firestick to the tv in each room, its cheap, gives netflix 2 In intro, explain how cart taxi system works as funniculars can be slow and steps are not linear 3 Soft drinks should be included in fullboard - dinner at pangea 4 At beach, drinks should be orderable to umbrella with app qr code 5 More evening activities 6 Include basic spa in package, most all inclusives let you use indoor pools and sauna atleast 7 Entrance and check in to room was slow, was left at crystal box and had to self enquire 8 Have document in room explaining whats included in your board (half/full/residents club) and allow upgrades 9 Some rooms we didnt know about, e.g. games room, found on last day 10 Offer small toothbrush and toothpaste in room (in thailand this was bamboo and sustainable)

Daios Cove second visit and the service is immaculate. Ordering Mini Bar service especially or in room dining Georjia in Fire Fly is exceptional, very pleasant and welcoming. I missed when she was not working. You will not be disappointed! They definitely aim to make your stay better than ever

Food is fabulous- especially the Ceviche. Stick to fish - why wouldn’t you? Ana & Chrizia at the Beach Restaurant were amazing. The outdoor restaurants are a must. The gym and wellness area are to die for. Please go to this hotel. It leaves you so relaxed and just HAPPY!

What an amazing experience. Daios Cove is an absolute gem. Me and my Fiancé vacationed in Greece this summer. We stayed at Daios cove for a few days. From the moment we arrived at the property, we felt like the red carpet was rolled out for us. We were greeted by the most pleasant and accommodating staff. The check in process was very smooth and personalized. We were greeted by the manager George who assured us that himself or his staff would be available at any time to ensure that we are well taken care of. George is an excellent host. Throughout our entire stay he was extremely accommodating, informative and catered to any requests that we had. The property is beautiful and better than advertised. It’s very peaceful, quiet and private. The room was spacious and well designed. Beds are beyond comfortable and the view of the cove is breathtaking. The grounds are pristine, the beach is amazing with a few options for some water activities. The beach manager Nikos was also a charm and made sure that we enjoyed the beach area. The spa is nothing short of a world class wellness center with a plethora of health and wellness practitioners and technology available. The restaurants and bars on the property are all five star worthy. Every meal and cocktail we had was absolutely delicious. It was hard to say goodbye to Daios cove. We will surely be back. Yamas!

I liked the hotel, the service is good, new, beautiful room and delicious food) I would like more animation for children:) and so, the hotel is very beautiful, beautiful blue bay :) and I would also like the spa to be not only for adults but also for children, since it was windy for a couple of days and the sea was cool
