Where do I start?? Oh dear from the get go on arrival at 4R Meridia Mar L'Hospitalet de L'Infant it was very bad. We arrived in a very remote area of the town to the hotel which looked quite nice to be honest. The receptionist spoke very little English which was ok but we were surprised this was the case as you are billed as English speaking in your resume. We were then told that we had missed dinner we arrived after a late transfer (late due to the transfer company taking another fare to Tarragona from another flight and not turning up for us until well after 10pm) and that if we wanted to eat then to go over to the Marina where there are restaurants. We did go over there as we were hungry but these restaurants too were closing as it was late and no food was being served. So we went back to the hotel. We had to pay for a bottle of water! they didn't even provide us with that little a gesture, no food, nothing. THE RECEPTION STAFF WERE NOT FRIENDLY on the whole. We were given a card with the hotel restaurant food times on it We were HALF BOARD so 8-10 Breakfast and 8pm-10pm dinner (1.30-3.30 lunch slot but we weren't booked for this) So next morning we went down to breakfast ravenous for something to eat. To be fair meals were good and there was always something we could eat but the fact that dinner was SO LATE in the evening meant that we were eating very late and this is not good for digestion before bed (dinner should be 6pm-8pm surely????) So everyday we had to get in the restaurant as early as we could to 8pm so that we weren't eating too late before bed. The restaurant staff on the door signing us in were NOT FRIENDLY. Room was on 2nd Floor down the side of the hotel and were ok, beds VERY COMFORTABLE and the maid seems to come everyday to clean the room (not nescessary but ok if that's how they do it then so be it). Shower caps, handwash and shower gel provided. Lots of loo rolls provided too and lovely clean towels. WE DID NOT USE THE POOL AREA. Pools, especially the children's pool looked MURKY AND UNCLEAN and we never saw anyone cleaning these in the evening or any other time. The pool area is VERY SHADY too so I don't think if you were hoping to lounge in the sun all day here you'd have much luck. The hotel's pictures suggest full sunlight on this area but that is NOT THE CASE. Very few sunbeds for the amount of guests too I would think but we never used them so not sure. The hotel reception area and restaurant were Air conditioned and well kept. Because we missed dinner on the first night, through no fault of our own, we asked if we could have lunch on the day of our check out and we were told NO by one of the UNFIRENDLY receptionists who abruprtly said when we asked for this because we missed dinner ont he first night, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM! - this receptionist was very UNFIENDLY and we noticed she kept going outside to SMOKE on the street outside the hotel and smelled badly of cigarettes too. Great. Went with my school and they treated us like royalty. Our Rooms were perfect as we only we there to sleep and leave for our activities. They were cleaned to perfection daily.Only thing I would fault was the food.

L'accueil..LAMENTABLE, 2 personnes derrière le comptoir qui nous on ignorer pendant 5 bonnes minutes En générale le sourire chez le personnel accueil,bar et restaurant en option .Heureusement que les femmes de chambre étaient agréables. L restauration du petit dej en passant par le repas de midi pour finir sur le diner ,comment dire à la limite du mauvais et jamais bon. On sent que les produits sont du bas de gamme surtout au niveau des fruits. On vous annonce horaire repas le soir 20h00 22h00. Le vendredi 13 juin 2025 à 21h10 il n'y avait pratiquement plus rien à manger. Il restait ce que personne n'avait voulu tellement c'était pas bon.Au niveau petit dej toujours la même chose pendant toute la semaine,jamais de bonne surprise. Midi et soir niveau repas les entrées 95% identiques.Bref niveau restauration un 3 sur 10 serait bien noté. Emplacement de l'hôtel super prés des plages ,près du centre ville et largement de quoi stationner tout autour de l'hôtel. La ville a opté pour un stationnement gratuit ,c'est tellement rare que ça mérite de le signaler. Literie et oreillers bien.On annonce un frigo .Il est tellement vieux qu'il en est très bruyant ,il faut le débrancher la nuit pour dormir.Comme beaucoup d'hôtel en Espagne les murs sont du papier à cigarette donc une promiscuité avec les chambres voisines qui est assez désagréable.

La habitación está muy bien si no te toca las de abajo, auténticos zulos. La comida es notable y el entorno bonito y tranquilo. Tuvimos una desavenencia con la recepcionista del turno de mañana (seca y antipática), debido a lo comentado la dijimos que el trato no era para recomendar y nos contesta "da igual, tenemos mucha clientela". Al llegar a la habitación, la tarjeta de la habitación no habría, vuelta a recepción, se lo digo a la recepcionista y me mira todo extrañada como recelosa, efectivamente, estaba mal configurada, ni perdón me dijo. Nosotros vamos a un hotel a descansar y pasar unos días agradables no tener un recibimiento tan penoso, la dirección del hotel debería ser más cuidadoso en que personal contrata. Por otra parte, el personal (todos muy jóvenes) del comedor muy bien.

Muy bien en general, la ubicación frente a la playa, la habitación en la zona de la piscina amplia y como nueva, ambiente tranquilo, únicamente la música de baile demasiado alta.Comida abundante y variada,limpieza y demás servicios muy bien restaurante muy atentos y serviciales

Ubicación muy buena frente al mar. Habitaciones correctas. Buen desayuno. Buen servicio. Un tres estrellas muy bueno a buen precio. Todas las habitaciones con terraza. Camas muy cómodas. Para repetir. No sé cómo será en temporada alta, pero en abril, de maravilla.
