Albergo Gran Paradiso

Location perfect, at the end of the road and ideal for glorious hikes up into the stunning mountains. The hotel was fine in terms of facilities and the room was fine too. The food was good, and the chef made an effort to vary the menu, which we appreciated as there for three nights. The downer for me was the staff. The two young barmen and the old man were nice, but the other staff were unfriendly to the point of being rude, particularly the guy who seemed to run the place. And don’t drink the house red (the white ok) terrible. No excuse for serving such bad wine in Italy!

We stayed here for 3 nights with halfboard. The hotel was very nice and beautifully located to go on several hikes in the park. Breakfast and dinner were good with enough tasteful options for vegetarians. Also the white housewine was good. The room was very nice and clean with excellent views. The beds had nice warm blankets, so we slept well. We enjoyed our stay here very much. There were only two minor things: - the WiFi didn't work at all in our room and in the other area's was poor. - we were told to stop playing a dice game in the bar...with the reason we could not play anymore because "it's a bar". (😁) But other than that, a perfect stay to explore the parc!

We stayed 3 nights. Very clean room with new bathroom. super serviceon anything. F i. Bij dinner they did everything with our requests no sugar no meat. After the top hikes uou have a nice bar. They also give good advice for the hikes. And last but not least the view from the terras

Ero un ragazzo quando ho iniziato a frequentare questo locale, base di partenza per la salita al Gran Paradiso. Incastonato in un ambiente spettacolare al cospetto di maestose montagne, regala emozioni pure grazie al torrente, alle neve, agli stambecchi che stazionano spesso proprio sulla strada, i boschi, la Valle del Nivolet. Insomma un immersione totale nella natura. Questa volta abbiamo usufruito del suo bar sia in andata al Gran Paradiso che al rientro per un sereno momento ristoratore. Proprietario molto cordiale, ottimi i prodotti, perfetto il rapporto qualità prezzo. Arrivederci alla prossima ascensione

Siamo tornati in questa struttura dopo parecchi anni di assenza e... tutto è ancora perfetto: accogliente, pulita, cibo ottimo e porzioni abbondanti, personale (e proprietari...) sempre gentili e disponibili. A ciò, si aggiunga la posizione invidiabile: fondovalle, a 2000 metri di quota ed in prossimità dell'imbocco dei principali sentieri (solo un paio di esempi: rifugio Vittorio Emanuele e vallone del Nivolet...). L'hotel dispone di un ampio parcheggio e di tutti i servizi richiesti dalla categoria. Credo che non aspetteremo ancora tanti anni prima di ritornarci!

Nous partageons l'avis précédent, la dame à l'accueil est désobligeante et désagréable... nous avons vraiment envie de quitter le lieu. La cuisine sans plus, dommage !!!!nous ne reviendrons pas certainement !!!!! A déconseiller

Siamo un gruppo di ciclisti arrivati al ristorante dell’ hotel poco dopo le 14 . Alla nostra richiesta di un piatto caldo per il pranzo ci è stato risposto in modo scortese che la cucina era chiusa . Considerando che ci saremmo accontentati di un piatto di pasta cadauno e che quindi con poco lavoro avrebbero accontentato dieci persone ed incassato un congruo compenso ci è stato spontaneo chiederci se abbiamo davvero bisogno di lavorare soprattutto in questi giorni difficili per tutti ….

Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in una afosa giornata di luglio e ci siamo trovati benissimo nonostante il prevedibile affollamento. Pietanze abbondanti e buone. Servizio cortese. Prezzi che sembrano fermi a dieci anni fa. Super consigliato.
