Villa Valliere Bed&Breakfast

Was so pleased to find that this gîte was open this weekend. The host , Gurt was very welcoming and we sat in front of a roaring fire sharing an apéro together with his black cat . We loved the way he had decorated the place , eclectic mix of antique, brocante, design and modern , and many many paintings and books of all gendres. The walls are often colourful and in our bedroom a piece of original wall paper still adorns one wall. Tasty breakfast with cheese , ham and patisserie with lashings of local jam , unusual and classic flavours .

Oooooo I just woke up at Villa Valliere. The room is so nice and the bed is just a little cloud to sleep on. Such an amazing property and managed by the charming Gert. It’s incredible how much care has gone into this property and everything from the room, the gardens, the facility and the breakfast is just to the point! Absolutely a top stay and wish I could stay longer! Keep doing what you do Villa Valliere as it’s exemplary

Cela partait du mauvais pied pour nous!Booking.com la réservation avait été faite un mois trop tôt !Evidemment…. surprise à l’arrivée !Mais à cette époque des chambres sont inoccupées et le propriétaire a vite réagi en nous proposant une chambre libre. La chambre n’était pas chauffée puisque libre et le chauffage central n’était pas encore en service Mais en quelques mns c’était réglé avec un radiateur d’appoint. L’ambiance « vintage » est sympathique surtout pour nous les seniors !La chambre est spacieuse avec un confort moderne .La literie est de bonne qualité !Un tourne disque posé dans la chambre à permis de faire jouer un 33 tours des sixties. Dans la salle pdj de nombreux livres chinés avec une collection d’ouvrages sur TINTIN ou de W.Churchill Mister Gert est aux petits soins pour sa clientèle (mais un petit effort en Français lui serait utile)!! Petit déjeuner très correct avec des confitures locales « introuvables »quant à la diversité des compositions. Sommes restés 3 jours !Le prix pour une nuit = 110 € pour un couple avec pdj
